I would usually never make a bad review for something being off about my food order but today I just felt the need to. I came and got a sandwich today and the lady taking my order was already rushing and having an attitude. She made my sandwich very messy and I asked for mayo and she put the smallest amount ever, I used to work at subway and I know they have certain amounts they have to put on each sandwich. So I asked for alittle extra and she proceeded to put way too much mayo on the sandwich and now it’s pretty much not edible. My sandwich is literally swimming in mayo, all my toppings are soggy and gross and it is very disappointing when I ordered a footlong to have leftovers for later and I couldn’t even eat the first half. My wife and I frequent this location as well as the Watkinsville Subway often, and are very pleased with how much improvement the new young manager has done for this location. Not only has the quality of the food improved, but he treats his PAYING clientele like family, and even stands up for us when needed. Case in point, tonight a homeless person came in harassing everyone, and he made sure the person left!! I have not seen that kind of assertiveness in a long time, not since I worked in food service years ago, but it was refreshing for sure...that guy needs a raise 👍💥. IF YOU ARENT OPEN DONT TAKE SOMEONES MONEY! I placed an online order last night not thinking it was Memorial Day or that my payment would go through even though bc they weren’t open.
