316 Caribbean at Georgia Square Mall — Restaurant in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

I really hate to do this but maybe this will provide correction. This is the second delivery order that was messed up. I ordered a large Curry Goat and a large Pineapple Ginger beverage, to be delivered with Ubereats on 10/29/25 around 1:15pm. I put in the notes to substitue my rice with plantain. I asked for plantain, and cabbage as my sides NO extra gravy and extra plantains. I checked all of this on the app and put it in the notes. I received the opposite. A ton of gravy and white rice. no cabbage. The order before this was also wrong, and I didn't say anything because sometimes things happen. I normally get my delivery order correct. When I ask for no gravy and just plantain and cabbage its correct. I don't know what is happening but I hope next time the directions...

The atmosphere is not their fault. As new person to this town I am missing my normal Jamaican spots. And the abundance of them. This place was well worth the drive and visit!!!! The portion size is how it should be! My plate was heavy. The guy there understood the assignment when I said “heavy on the gravy”. The cabbage was seasoned and was softer than most places. The rice and peas was not crunchy. The curry goat was the opener but my drink was the star of the show. I mixed the pineapple and ginger and sorrel and it was 🔥🔥🔥 back to the goat. That goat was very good. I had a lot of bones but I don’t mind cause that’s where the flavor is. Very well seasoned. I tore my plate up in the parking lot and can’t wait to finish it at home.

This may be one of the best kept secrets in Athens, and it shouldn't be because it deserves all the praise. I got the jerk pork plate. The meat is well seasoned and tender, the rice is perfectly cooked, the cabbage is incredible, and the plantains are delightful.

I got the mild beef patties for my husband - the meat is obviously slow cooked and tender and the crust is flaky and delicious.
