Horrific. My daughters and I decided to have a stay cation to get out of the house. The man at the front counter gave us a room with a refrigerator that wouldn’t close so we walked into a rotten smelling room. We went to ask for another and explained why. He gave us the next room over. We were there for 30 minutes before the neighbors arrived. They were very kind. After that we heard yelling and fighting. I told my girls it would be okay, we tried to watch the basic cable shows to enjoy our stay cation until more yelling occurred. I open the door to get ice and what appeared to be flashlight wielding men ( I would not consider them police, possibly security guards or even impersonators) they pretended I wasn’t even there. I walked back into my room to find both of my daughters crying and begging to end the staycation. We waited 30 minutes, also packing our things, and ran to the front office to check out ( all of this was about three hours after our fun staycation began) I explained what happens to the manager at the front desk and he said we would not be getting a refund( which I did not expect anyway) he then threw the card back towards me and said something I did not understand. This was not the Saturday night I hoped to give my daughters, but we will never forget it. The least he could have done was offered us another night when things...
Read moreWe got there close to 12am and the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. I reserved our stay online and the price was good for the 1 night. The place is in walking distance from a Walmart and Taco Cabana which is crazy because where I'm from that restaurant closed down many years ago. We stayed in the first floor which was good. The beds were comfortable and the bedding look OK but it looked like the bedding has not been changed in a long time. The door was sketchy because it looked like someone tried to break down the door. The lock was very lose and the extra lock for the door looked damaged. The room was clean along with the bathroom and the ac unit worked just fine. What didn't work was the hot water. We left the water running for a few mintues and it never got hot. This was unfortunate becuase it was 24 degrees outside and we wanted to take a rinse before checking out. I also went to get some breakfast and the janitor was cleaning the lobby so I was not able to get something to eat. To be honest for the 1 night it was ok but I honestly wouldn't stay here again. At least the beds didn't have...
Read moreI never write reviews but this time I have to speak up. I've gotten rooms here many times in the last year. This time was a bit different. Checked in around 3pm the room (108) smelled like a freshly burned cigarette. I opened the door in hopes the smell would dissipate with no luck. Called up the front desk the lady told me I had been there for hours not true roughly around 30 minutes. She reluctantly gave me room 207. After about an hour in the room the front desk calls me and basically tells me if they find anymore cigarette butts under the bed I would be charged to clean the room. Question if I smoked would I care if the room smelled like smoke? I DON'T SMOKE MY GIRLFRIEND IS ALLERGIC. So after going to speak with the front desk she said you if I don't smoke then I should be good. But why are you treating me like I'm the one that missed cleaning under the bed or reporting the fact that the last tenant smoked like a freight train. I get it you trust your house keepers more than some one off the streets but seems like you need to check their work...
