Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Balch Springs

First, ordered online and pulled through drive-thru for a drink and to see if they could give orders through window. They said no, you have to come in. No curbside, I asked. No, she said, you have to come in. Okay. So I pull around to park and go inside and there in front of the front door is parking for curbside orders. Aggravated about that now. So we go inside to get the order and are almost immediately ignored by the front person as they address the person in front of us in line — good job — but then leave and begin talking on the side with someone who just came in and was asking for an employee that works there?!? So, we wait about 3-5 minutes to even get noticed for service and then they tell us that our online order isn’t done, it will be a moment. That’s fine. We did place the order about 15 minutes before arriving??? But okay. A few more minutes isn’t bad, right? WRONG. We stood there for no less than 20 minutes! And no one ever gave us an update on the order or an apology for how LONG it was taking them! So finally we get our order and are on the car and checking everything as we begin to leave the parking lot, and on top of all the mess we just waited through, they forget our fajita platters that we ordered. So, as we sit here longer and wait on them to fix what was forgotten, I am writing this review to let you know — DON’T BOTHER GIVING THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY! Poor service and customer care like I have never had before. Save your money. Eat at home. At least you’ll know when it really ready and it’ll all be there in front of you...

TC is always a pleasant tummy filler, reliable franchise that delivers top of the line tastes thats satisfying and filling everytime! But to specify my experience at this specific location, I have to acknowledge their above and beyond service that was consistent through out our entire visit from the moment we walked in before placing our orders, all the way until saying our goodbyes with a nice full stomach and even a baggie filled with a good amount of leftovers we were unable to finish.. Not only were the portions of dishes well balanced, but each side and entrée met our expectations and cravings desired for tex-mex! We had the pleasure of having a gentleman named Tony G, assist us with our order. And a gentleman he was! He took the time to point out his personal favorites, (and the steak quesidllas and nachos were a definite hit all around our table)! Although we may have struggled being over opinionated and indecisive, he remained patient and was even able to help the most complicated of our party, make a final decision that was agreed later, a 5 out of 5 dish! I ordered my first order today via doordash. I ordered 2 cheese quesadillas and a 3 piece chicken flautas and a diet coke in a can. I also asked for salt packets and napkins and wanted 4 sides of salsa. I received 1 cheese quesadilla and NO sour cream and guacamole sides. I also received the flautas and my diet coke. Missing a cheese quesadilla. Called the store and spoke to Jennifer the manager and explained what I was missing. I told her I would order again and she said she would pack my order personally. I ordered another 3 piece flautas and a cheese quesadilla and diet coke. When I got my order I received 2 cheese quesadillas, Manager threw in another one for free. I also received my flautas and no diet coke. Called back and talked to the manager Jennifer she said that the diet coke was still sitting on shelf where the Dasher picks up food. However when I called the Dasher he said that an employee gave him my order. He didn't pick up the food from the shelf were the dashers get the orders.
