Hello everyone! I am a truck driver who travels with my fur baby Rosa(English Bulldog). The radiator broke on the truck I drive and my DM and I both searched for places near the Premiere Truck Service/Freightliner located in 4200 Port Blvd, Dallas TX 75241 . No hotel/motels up to 9 mile radius really allows pets, CLC, EFS nor cash to even let us drivers(travelers) have a place to stay till the truck gets fixed which is very inconvenient for us truckers or many travelers who has pets. Studio 6 Extended Stay is a very nice place to stay. Pet friendly and I love the huge fridge they have in the room..also ironing board with iron, microwave and they have enough spaces for your personal items in the room room too. The bathroom has good water pressure in both toilet and shower. They do accept cash as well(as far as I know no CLS or EFS) The lady at front desk is very pretty and professional. There is adequate parking and yes the space isn't really made for bobtails with sleepers if you are a trucker..but they do allow parking for them. Just understand that NOT all places accommodate truck parking for us drivers. So be thankful, clean up after yourselves and be kind to others . Also, be glad you actually have a place to stay as to where it is clean and the staff are very nice. Stay safe everyone and hope you who read this are well and happy. God...
Read moreThe word that comes to mind for this property is bleak: the room, location and my interactions with staff. If you like having to PAY EXTRA for motel basics such as shampoo and conditioner, if you like NOT being able to open the black out blinds and if you like the sounds of 16 wheelers whizzing by feet from your pillow (and hearing footsteps down the hall and above you) then this is the place for you! Bargain basement services should come with bargain basic prices. When I walked into the room the insides of the TV was dangling from it by wires, the toaster plug wouldn't fit the outlets and when I did find one that worked--the new toaster started smoking, and although there was a plug (and dangling wire) to raise the blackout blind, it did not work. Also the bed felt like a rollaway bed with uncomfortable springs poking through. This cavernous, dreary, no charm motel needs a lot of love. There was never anyone stationed at the front desk and main door into the hotel is locked from 10PM - 6AM for safety. This combo made me feel uneasy. Two stars because it was new and pretty clean. If it was cheaper, I would understand these shortcomings but you could get a lot more for your...
Read moreThe front desk IS 100% AWARE of the ROACH problem. They said they spray monthly, yet there are live German roaches roaming the rooms. Our room first didn’t show signs of roaches but there was crumbs, dirt, hairs, even toe nail clippings on the floors. Splatters of god knows what all over every wall in the room. I asked the front desk for a broom and cleaning materials to clean the room myself, they offered a new room and let me check it out first before we moved, the first thing I noticed was two dead roaches belly up on the floor of the room they were trying to move us into. Why would you offer me a new room to replace the dirty one I was already in with a room that was visibly with roaches? Why wasn’t the room checked before you sent me up there? $228 that we now have to wait 5-7 business days to be returned and here it is 11pm at night and we’re searching for another place to stay. Slum lords running this disgusting place KNOW it’s crawling with roaches as they’re continuing to rent out rooms. DON’T even reply that you’re “sorry for our mistakes”, you’re not. Or else you would CLOSE THE WHOLE HOTEL AND FIX THE ROACH...
