White Rock Motel & RV park — Hotel in Berkley

I currently live at the white rock motel. I have been here 1 full year, since last june. The Manager (linda) and her husband care about the people who live here. The rooms are cleaned upon check out, as well as if you stay for any length of time are cleaned every week. New sheets. Blanket. Comforter. Pillow cases towels soap and toilet paper, for your convenience. There is a handy man who fixes things in a timely manner. This spring new plants were planted in the front of the place and now they look great. Here is a pic of my bed after the cleaning lady leaves every week . I'm not the cleanest person in the world but my room is cleaned to my satisfaction every time . the rest of the staff is very professional and do a great job as well . You know being in a motel is not ideal, but linda and her assistant ( Krista ) do a wonderful job .. They go above and beyond to make your stay here at the white rock feel like home sweet home. Thanks for caring and helping me out when needed it sure makes staying here a good experience and if i need to be in a motel again i will check out the white...

This place is the epidamy of a health hazard. Infested with roaches and an obscene amount of bed bugs, this place has no business being open to the public. It should be condemned, torn down and the land be completely excavated. As for the owner, Roger Guzman, he is the biggest slumlord on the planet. He thinks he is above the law so much that he encourages his employees to intimidate the tenants to leave the property when they don't do what they want, usually because they stand up for themselves when they feel they are being treated unfairly. None of the employees have the qualifications to do their respective jobs and almost all of them are smoking methamphetamines on a daily basis, and when they are upset with a tenant they accuse them of smoking and dealing. thie place needs to be shut down...

Since fall 2010, I have stayed there several times each year while visiting family and friends in Colorado , and each year, especially the last year, I have watched this place go spiraling steadily downward as the rooms became worn out beat up and dirty. ...yet the room rates have steadily gone up and up and for the life of me, I couldn't find a single reason why! Last night I decided I would not again for any reason waste another dollar there again and it made me very sad and angry that I was left with no other option because the room I stayed in was easily in the worst shape of any motel room I have ever stayed in throughout my life and I spend 2/3 of each year in hotel and motel rooms...
