✨Minnesota Travel Guide✨ 🌈Hey everyone, today I’m sharing some amazing travel spots and a fantastic hotel in Minnesota, USA. 📍Minnesota is full of enchanting places. For example, the beautiful Mississippi River flows through the city, with sparkling waters and picturesque riverside views. There’s also the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, where you can get up close with rare wildlife and experience the charm of nature. 🏨I highly recommend the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Minneapolis Bloomington W. This hotel has an excellent location with convenient transportation, making it super easy to get around. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and decorated in a modern style with all the amenities you need. Whether you’re here for leisure or business, this place has got you covered. Plus, the service is top-notch—the staff is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. 🎁Psst… I’ve got a little surprise for you if you reach out to me 😉. Come and start an unforgettable journey in Minnesota! 💕 #MinnesotaTravel #TravelGuide #LaQuintaInn #NatureLovers #TravelTips #ExploreMinnesota #Wanderlust #TravelWithMe

My partner and I stayed at the La Quinta Inn, 7815 Nicollet Ave in Bloomington, and it was one of the most disgusting hotel experiences we have ever had. We were assigned Room 1081, and immediately upon entry, we noticed the overwhelming smell of mildew and dampness. The carpet was wet, which strongly suggested ongoing water damage or neglect. In the bathroom, there was visible black mold on the walls and edges, which raised immediate health concerns. Breathing in the room caused lung irritation and discomfort within a short amount of time. Mold in a guest room is dangerous and completely unacceptable. No guest should be subjected to these conditions when paying for a hotel stay. In addition to the mold, the room showed evidence of a bed bug infestation. When we inspected the mattress, we found stains, insect casings, and markings that are consistent with bed bug activity. Both my partner and I sustained multiple bites during the few hours we attempted to remain in the room. These bites caused itching and discomfort that continued even after we left. Bed bugs are a serious public health concern and should never be present in a guest room. The fact that we encountered them so quickly shows that this room had not been properly inspected or treated. Allowing guests to stay in such conditions is a serious failure in basic hotel management. What made matters worse was that the unsafe conditions were not limited to the guest room. In the main lobby, near the front desk, there was also visible mold growing on the wall. Mold in a common area is visible to every guest and shows that these problems are widespread. If mold is being ignored in public spaces, it raises serious questions about what other issues are being neglected throughout the property. For a hotel brand like La Quinta, this level of neglect damages trust. Guests deserve a clean and healthy environment from the moment they enter the lobby, not exposure to mold before even reaching their rooms. The presence of mold in both private and public areas was alarming. The behavior of the hotel staff made this experience even more unacceptable. When I reported the issues and showed the front desk employee photographs of the mattress, he denied anything was wrong. He even walked away during our conversation rather than taking any responsibility. He told us no refund could be issued because we booked through Priceline, and he refused to escalate the matter further. This dismissive attitude shows a complete disregard for guest safety and well-being. Staff should be trained to respond urgently to such serious problems, not to ignore them. Their refusal to help left us with no choice but to leave immediately. We were forced to find another hotel that same night, which cost us a total of $445. This was an unexpected expense that created financial stress on top of the physical discomfort from mold exposure and bed bug bites. No guest should ever have to pay extra money simply to escape an unsafe room. We left feeling disgusted, upset, and extremely disappointed in La Quinta and Wyndham as a brand. This property needs immediate inspection and accountability for its unsafe conditions. I strongly warn other travelers not to stay here until these issues are resolved. Protect yourself and your health—look elsewhere for lodging.

Ok. So, I've given this property four days to response to my email about what they were going to do about the room they gave me and my family but they have continually dodge my phone calls. I rented two rooms here for a quick trip to the cities and regret ever seeing it. The place was rundown and you can see that from the parking lot with all its potholes. I still tried to give it a chance because in other states, Laquinta Inns are way better and have excellent services. Unfortunately for us, it only got worst. The AC unit wasnt working properly and the rooms were very outdated. The room my kids had, had roaches. I notified the office, and all they did was change our room. The next room was even dirty but no signs of roaches. I have called every day since Monday and keep getting told that the Assistant GM and GM are either busy, out of the office, or at another property. These people are a joke, and they do not care about their customers, the community they serve, the Wyndham brand, and money. Don't go here.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD RATE IT LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIRST OF ALL I MADE THE RESERVATION WITH TIME AND WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY GAVE US A ROOM, THE NEXT NIGHT WE CAME BACK AND WE ALSO RESERVED ANOTHER NIGHT ONLINE, BUT THIS TIME THEY TURNED DOWN THE SAME CARD THAT THEY RAN THE DAY BEFORE FOR THE DEPOSIT WHICH IS $100. WE WERE TOLD THIS CARDS CAN'T BE USE FOR WHATEVER REASON (THEY DONT WANNA TELL YOU WHY) SO WE HAD TO RUSH TO THE ATM AND GET THE CASH FOR THE DEPOSIT, THEY TOLD US THEY DON'T ACCEPT CASH DEPOSIT WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD US NOT EVEN THE NIGHT BEFORE. WHEN I SAID THAT SUSAN AND NANA (BOTH LADIES AT FRONT DESK) DECIDED TO BLAME US FOR THEIR LACK OF COMMUNICATION AND PROFESSIONALISM. ON TOP OF THAT SUSAN GAVE US AN ATTITUDE FROM THE START ( WHICH I WOULDN'T HAVE CARED IF SHE JUST DID HER JOB RIGHT). NOT ONLY DID THEY SAY THEY COULDN'T RUN OUR CARD OR TAKE CASH BUT AFTER WE HAVE LEFT I SAW FROM THE FIRST MINUTE WE WERE ATTEMPTING TO CHECK IN SHE ALREADY TRIED TO TAKE $100 FROM THE SAME CARD. THEY STEAL FROM PEOPLE AND PROBABLY DUPLICATE CARDS WHICH IS WHY THEY TAKE CASH DEPOSIT SO THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE IT BACK. WE ENDED UP MAKING A RESERVATION IN ANOTHER HOTEL AND THE LYFT DRIVER TOLD US HE PICKS UP PEOPLE FROM HERE ALL THE TIME AND THE LAST TIME THEY TRIED TO JACK HIS CAR, AND HE ALSO MENTIONED PROSTITUTES AND DRUG RINGS AROUND WHICH WE DID NOTICE. THE ONLY REASON WHY PEOPLE STAY HERE IS BECAUSE IT'S THE CHEAPEST MOTEL IN THE AREA AND I DONT KNOW BUT I'M PRETTY SURE THEY ALSO OWN THE SUPER 8 NEXT TO THEM SO I WOULDN'T GO THERE EITHER. IF YOU DECIDE TO STAY HERE GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE I GUESS, BUT YOU CAN SEE FROM THE OTHER REVIEWS HOW TERRIBLE THEY ARE. HORRIBLE ATTITUDE, ROOM WAS DISGUSTING WITH A BIG BLOOD STAIN ON THE MATTRESS, TOILET PAPER WAS ALMOST FINISHED WHEN WE ENTERED INTO THE ROOM, THEY DONT HAVE A SIGN SHOWING THEIR "POLICY" REGARDING NOT ALLOWING CASH DEPOSIT ANYWHERE AND IF YOU SEE AN ONLINE BANK YOU'RE GAMBLING WITH MONEY STAYING HERE. I ASKED FOR THE MANAGER AND THEY GAVE ME AN EMAIL AND SAID THEY DONT HAVE A PHONE NUMBER. THE MANAGER'S NAME THEY GAVE ME IS MARK.

I HAD ALSO FORGOTTEN MY JACKET IN THE ROOM WHEN WE CHECKED IN THE FIRST TIME AND I ASKED FOR IT BUT THEY SAID THEY DIDNT FIND ANYTHING AS THEY SHOWED A PICTURE OF THE ROOM NEXT TO US WITH ONLY A BIG TRASH BAG UNABLE TO SEE WHAT'S INSIDE AND THEY WOULDN'T TELL US WHO CLEANED THE ROOM SO WE ASSUMED THEY'RE PROTECTING WHOEVER TOOK THE JACKET. THEY ALSO SAID NO ONE COMPLAINS EVER LIKE COME ON, THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED AND I'M NOT EVEN ONE TO COMPLAIN OR GET SO ANGRY OR EVEN WASTE MY TIME OVER A LOT OF STUFF BUT THIS WAS BAFFLING. SUSAN SAID I NEVER "ASKED" ABOUT CASH DEPOSIT WHEN I DONT EVEN KNOW ABOUT THEIR POLICY, HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE? SHE GOT MAD WHEN I CALLED HER UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHE RESPONDED THAT IT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL THAT I DIDNT ASK MORE ABOUT THEIR POLICY INSTEAD OF BEING CLEAR FROM THE START. YOU'RE THE EMPLOYEE, WERE THE GUEST, IT'S NOT OUR JOB TO INTERROGATE YOU ABOUT YOUR OWN JOB...

It’s not often that I like to write reviews like this. I tend to prefer to shed light on exceptional places with great service. I feel the need to address some of the things I experienced here. I would also like to preface this by stating that the experience I describe may not be indicative of what you experience, hotel stays can vary vastly. To start off, we had booked our room weeks in advance so when arriving I was not expecting them to place us in a different room than the one we had booked, as far as I know a two bed queen is similarly priced to a one bed king so it’s not a major deal breaker but I still found it strange. The price for an almost week stay felt very fair for the area as well, given the quality of the room that could be questionable though. Do not get confused by the promise of a free breakfast either, this location only has two types of cereal, milk, and coffee available. Everything else is nonexistent despite there being space for it. The cleanliness of the room was questionable as well, upon entering I checked around as many reviews mentioned cockroaches and other such things. I was unable to see anything of the sorts however I did find multiple areas of the room that appeared to have been poorly cleaned or taken care of, I’m not talking about typical wear and tear or aging, there were multiple spots where I found crumbs or other such things from the previous guest that had just been neglected to be vacuumed up. As well the sheets on the bed I slept in had two strange stains and a few red stains, which was off-putting to say the least. Despite there being multiple signs posted up stating that no smoking was to be done inside the building the scent of cigarette smoke was strong within our room, which was unfortunate. Where I give this site credit is definitely with the service, the front end staff were almost all nice and helpful anytime we spoke with them, barring one individual. The location is exceptionally handy as well, being very close to multiple public transportation pickups and being centered almost perfectly between everything we wanted to do and see in this area it was an absolutely fantastic spot to stay, but just know what you’re getting into before booking. Where this place excels it falls short in many other aspects, that being said I would say this place is the epitome of average. I’ve stayed at multiple La Quinta all over and most of them are fantastic to stay at, they all tend to excel at customer service as well but while this particular site could use an overhaul on some things I think overall our stay...
