While I do enjoy wandering around their large location there is little in terms of proper guest service attitude. It's difficult to find individual salesfloor team members walking the floor. You are forced to find the guest assistance kiosks around the store and hope the team members know what you're talking about. I was also double charged on my bill. My bank statement listed two sales transactions from the location for the same amount. When discussing these issues with their customer service desk, both over the phone and in person, after explaining the situation and showing them the evidence they told me they cannot locate a second transaction in their system (there was only one transaction but two charges according to my bank). Any other retailer would have refunded me for the mistake but they lack these guest service skills. They said they have to go through their financial department to find out if they can refund me the money I'm owed. The transaction was processed on Friday and I contacted them on Saturday when I found out. Their offices are closed for the weekend. I don't know what kind of business they are trying to run, but I have bills to pay. I cannot have money being held hostage for a few days plus a few more to process back on to my card.
In short, it was a difficult shopping trip with a more than frustrating outcome. I would not recommend shopping here to avoid this sort of issue...

It got damaged when the delivery guy carried that from the truck to my door so my husband did not accept that dryer machine. The delivery guy even scratched my car parking on the driveway. He did not say sorry for that. Plus there was only one guy for the delivery. When my husband called the delivery department to check on when they are going to deliver my dryer and he also mentioned why there was only one guy coming to deliver, it should be two persons to carry the machine down stairs. As we always see two persons to deliver any big machine. The guy my husband was on the phone with told my husband that because you paid only that much of money so you got only one guy. I believe you have only one flat rate charge for delivery $69.99, that was the amount we paid. When I bought the machine and talked to you about the delivery charge, you did not mention to me about you have different charges for delivery that based on how many people I want for my machine to be delivered. Your guys should tell me and your customers about different options for delivery charge. But you lost your chance. I will never never come back to Menards, specially in Richfield. Read moreI visited this Menards located this morning and an incident occurred that needs to be properly addressed. I addressed it to multiple workers in the store but was laughed at instead of consoled.
I have a service dog that was with me while I was in your establishment. He wears all of the proper identification and I had no issues while I shopped around with him. While I was checking out, my cashier asked if she could pet my service dog to which I replied, "No, he is a service dog and he's working right now." She then asked me what type of dog he was to which I replied, "Chihuahua."
What happened next is a case of breed discrimination which is illegal against service animals. My cashier then began to tell me how much she hated Chihuahuas because they were "Yuppy" and "Snappy" and continued to say horrible things about him and his breed. While all of this happened, my service dog was in my arms, not making a sound.
I could not believe what I was hearing and instantly went to the Customer Service Counter and let the woman know what had just happened. While I was speaking to this woman, she was smirking and looked like she was trying to hold in her laughter. Not once did she apologize or show any sort of compassion. Instead, she gave me an attitude and said "I'll talk to her."
