This was an extremely terrible booking experience. I absolutely do not recommend choosing this place. We booked this accommodation almost a month in advance and were constantly asked to change the payment method. After the final successful payment, the accommodation confirmed that the payment was successful. 10 days after the payment, just two days before our check-in, they sent us the check-in information, including the door code and various accommodation notices. Since it was a large suite listed to accommodate eight people, we inquired if we could change the number of guests as we only had five people at the time, and they said it was not a problem. However, on the last day, without any notification, they refunded our payment. We contacted our bank, and the bank informed us that the merchant had processed the refund. We then spent an entire day messaging and calling the accommodation, trying to understand why. They were unreachable, and even when messages showed as read, they did not reply. As we were supposed to check in the next day, you can imagine how anxious we were. I didn’t want us to arrive in Boston the next day with nowhere to go. Until around 9 PM, the night before check-in, they canceled our reservation. Because they canceled the reservation at the last moment, we had to book another hotel in Boston at double the price at the last minute. This was my worst booking experience ever. I hope no one else has to go through this again. They are not a reliable business!

In fact, my reservation was canceled on the very last day, after a whole 23 days. The first time I tried to pay with my own credit card, you did not accept it. I had to use my husband's credit card. Ten days after you confirmed that the payment was successful, you told me on the last day that my payment was not accepted. If you needed the credit card name to match the name of the person booking, you should have informed me immediately, not on the last day, leaving us with no options. You could have communicated with me earlier, as I had other cards to use for payment. However, you avoided answering my questions and canceled my reservation on the last evening. This behavior has a very negative impact on a family traveling to a distant city. Regardless of where the booking was made, I believe everyone should know the truth. Read moreThis place does have some good points: reasonable price, fresh well done remodel, and clean. On the other hand the Travelocity description states “shared bathroom”, well that is not all you share, you share everything in the apartment (bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room, dining room, washer/dryer) everything except the rather small bedrooms. Our main problem however was with the hot water. My wife and I arrived and self checked in at about 9:00 PM on a Monday night, we were the only guests in the unit. At about 11:00 my wife went to take a shower only to discover that there was no hot water. I immediately called the contact number and was informed that they do have 24 hour maintenance service and she would call them. I texted her an hour later asking about the status and was told that a service technician would come the next day between 7 and 11AM and also that she was still trying to get someone to come in on short notice. I called again in the morning to ask about the status and was told that the 7-11 service call was the best they could do. At that point I said that since this was a major inconvenience (both of us needed to take showers) they should offer to give us some sort of credit back from what we paid for the unit. She hesitated, then said they would think about it and get back to me. Then it got a bit weird, she said that they are used to dealing with Europeans, and that Americans “always seem to expect everything to work when they stay at their properties”. She repeated that and actually belabored that point as we continued the polite and civil discussion. After that call my wife and I went out at about noon for some sightseeing, got back around 8:00, the hot water was working and we finally were able to take a couple of showers. I called the representative again to tell her that I thought they should give us some kind of refund for our experience and she again stated that they needed to discuss it internally and they would let me know. Read moreI got robbed. THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW. THE OWNER TRIED TO MARK ME A "NON-CHECKED IN GUEST" EVEN I CHECKED IN on bookingcom! They tell lies instead showing respect/empathy to customers. On my way from subway station to this hotel, AROUND 9 OCLOCK, three people robbed my iphone just one street away from this location. I called 911 (I found a witness to help me call 911, I have witness information) and police came, they saw my injuries. EVERYONE BE AWARE OF THIS NEIGHBORHOOD! Police reminded me it is an unsafe area. I paid a room over $100 which its bathroom has to be shared with others, And I got ROBBED ASSAULTED AND INJURED!!!! No staff is available in the building to help with anything. I had to email them as my phone was robbed but they replied me in the morning. In case of emergency like mine, you are on your own. I have never asked hotel owner to compensate my phone as police/detective would help me. Hotel made numerous false claims and kept writing good reviews themselves to cover negatives. All my evidence including hospital report, police, other passengers as witnesses, more, can be verified. Everything I posted here is true story. But hotel owner tried to deny me as a guest to block me to write my review, tell public everything is fake. I emailed them picture of my injuries and they say its fake. This review is to share my experience as I paid over $100 for the service . I do NOT care about refund. I never ever asked for extra money but they dare make false claim saying I did. Especially I wrote my experience right after it happened, I didn't wait. This business owner has zero respect to customer, she kept denying, telling people Im lying, irritating me.
