Too Long Didn't Read: I had two kids with me and we placed order using UberEats and were eagerly waiting for picking up the food from Chipotle. but the whole evening experience was nightmare.
At the last after long discussion, Chipotle team was generous to pack food for us, but i already lost TIME and PEACE, and my kids were not interested in the food anymore by the time we got.
I faced 4 issues.
Team at Chipotle was very irresponsible when we asked for food. the food pack was not there when we went to Chipotle Order Pickup area and it was either taken by somebody else or Chipotle team didn't make our food ready.
Chipotle team respons was "oh you ordered via UberEats then someone has already taken your food pack, we didn't see who it was, we were busy, we couldn't verify who taken your food. Its not possiblefor us to check alwayswho is taking food. some people show ID and some peoplecome and pickupand go". How come Chipotle team says that response?? are they not responsible to check who was talking food? In uber eats i can see that my order is ready for pickup, but Chipotle team said they didn't received the order at all. they couldn't find my order.
my order pickup time was 12/16/2022 between 6:45 and 7:15pm PT and i went there by 25 to 30 minutes late. Chipotle team response was that i went there 2 hours late and they said that because i placed order around 5pm PT. i don't know why this is an issue, yes i was late by 25 min than my pickup time,
As soon as I went there i showed my UberEats order confirm page to the Chipotle associate who was at pickup counter, and he didn't find my order in Chipotle system. and called their manager. she also couldn't find it and asked me to show the UberEats order details again, but unfortunately my battery is dead, and her response was " sorry, I cannot help you without order details. and I have to drive back home(unfortunately charger not there in my car too) to charging and come back to the store again to show the order details. Chipotle team couldn't TRUST me even though i showed the details to their associate. Chipotle team, remember no one going to come to your food and have a long conversation and spend an hour time at your restaurant without placing order. I can understand your situation, but I didn't expect that response from your team.
Summary: I would NEVER place orders via UBEREATS. UBER team, I have a very bigger picture about your team so far because of the Technology you use and what not, but NO MORE. First problem your User Experience SUCKS, finding restaurants to placing order is not easy. How come order not reach Chipotle? Very pathetic. remember food orders are not an apparels or a Toys order whete we can wait if shipping is delayed, this is food order and very time sensitive. You LOST one customer, oh wait you are thinking just one customer!!!!! Unfortunately I have already updated my company team about this whole experience and this would be last last they go for UberEats coupon. and I will NOT RECOMMEND UberEats to anyone in my circle.
Chipotle team , I had so much respect so far to people at Chipotle and tasty food you make. but now it's GONE. Overall it was a nightmare experience had.

Read moreMy family and I went into to this Chipotle's location and we were greeted with the utmost unfriendly, downright excessively inconsiderate and rude employees ever witnessed. I can say this may have been the single worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life.
The credit card service method of payment was down and therefore not an option for payment. It is understandable that everyone was frustrated with the situation. A sign was posted but was not obviously visible by the customers coming in. As customers approached the counter to place their orders they were treated with the utmost disrespect and contemptuous behavior by the employees as if to say “can’t you read the sign!” I witnessed several customers being told in an extremely uncalled for manner that they had to have the exact cash amount. The employees working this evening, in particular the 2 girls working the front counter were so incredibly impolite, and not empathetic or apologetic about the situation with the credit card machine not working. It was busy so there was a line and the sign was not visible to all. I spoke with 2 separate customers that had decided to order from the Chipotle App but said they had been waiting for their orders over 20 min. One of them mentioned to me how rude the employees were to them.
I had decided to ask the girl at the counter how much the items I wanted would cost so I could come up with the exact cash. As I was placing my order, the girl helping me seemed annoyed and irritated like she didn’t want take my order. She was very short with me, and when I asked how much more something was she rudely replied “the price it’s right there pointing at the price” instead of just saying it $1.70 extra. I then asked if I could have more guacamole and she said “I’ve already scraped the bowl”. There were 2 hours before closing so I’m not sure if that was really the case or she just didn’t want to get more for me. Disgusted with my service thus far, I finally said to her, “you know you don’t have to be so rude”. She then proceeded to be over the top passive aggressive with me, extremely sarcastic calling me ma’am at least 10 times, “it that ok ma’am” and so on. As she finished my order and told me the amount I owed I handed her a few cents over the exact amount and she proceeded to say to me “that’s not the exact amount ma’am, I don’t have change”. I said it’s ok, and she said “oh thank you Ma’am for being so generous”
This experience really ruined my evening. I left feeling so uneasy about my experience. You would think as employees serving the public they would have more gumption to deal with the situation more pleasantly with their customers. Every customer coming in was obviously there for a reason, and unfortunately left disappointed, not only without getting what they came for but also receiving a slap in the face with such contemptuous behavior from the working staff this evening!

Staff is extremely rude and not following the hygiene guidelines. ( Big red flag ) Visit this store if you want to get sick.
To the some extent, I feel staff is racist and not interested in their work. They literally don't care about their customers and treat them like they are giving food for free.
I ordered the burrito bowl and the person was totally careless in making the bowl. He was literally throwing the food inside the bowl where part of the food was overflowing on the countertop. As if it was not enough, he was literally picking the food from the countertop and putting it back inside the bowl. ( Who does that? ) When I requested not to do that, he started using abusive language with a raised voice. ( I was extremely polite in my request). After some arguments back and forth, he shouted and left the counter in the middle of making and went backside of the store. (For a second, it felt like he will come out and will become physical....thank god that did not happen)
His manager was standing next to him but he did not say a single word. First time in my life I noticed such incompetent manager. Looks like he was silently in the agreement with his idiotic employee. (Manager never apologized for his employee behavior and overall experience). Other possibly is that staff is not under control and management is totally clueless.
Not sure what is the hiring standard of chipotle. Probably they are getting random people from the street who can throw food in some containers. (hiring bar seems extremely low)
I see there are many other reviews from other customers who had similar experiences like us. I would avoid this branch at any cost. I would rather stay hungry than going to this store. Probably better to give some homeless 20 dollars. At least you will get "thank you" in return...
