Management stole my money. I had to pay $750 for the first week with a $50 deposit all in cash waiting for my apartment to be ready. The second week came. I explained to them my situation and ask them what would be the best way so I didn’t get such a high price again I was told by the little old man with the glasses at the front desk that always seem to have an attitude oh don’t worry I’ll take care of you. I’ll give you that same rate for 750 for the week. I said OK but the problem is I’m not sure if it’s gonna take two days or all seven days until my apartment is ready due to red tape as I am disabled I have AARP and I had to wait for paperwork to come back from my caseworker for my disability, I said I did not want to be charged if I checked out before the week was up and he said oh no no don’t worry don’t worry we no charge you I have you pay this right now because the weekend rates to get so high and if you have to come and down on the weekend and pay for the weekend, you’re gonna pay double well in two days my apartment was ready. I was so happy I went to the front desk. He was so nice and yes, yes we will credit back your card you will get all your money back happy for you. Good luck and then I went back in and I said oh wait a minute I paid $50 in cash for a deposit the first week I was there. Can I get that back took him 15 minutes cause he had to check on it. Nothing was in the system not even my last name was in the system. He finally comes back and hand me the $50 with a frown on his face wasn’t so happy anymore then I got the credit back on my card. I was out 135 bucks I said why am I being charged for that early check out he says I said no that’s not what you said to me. I’m a diamond Customer I had to beg for towels beg for sheets. I was there for nine days and they would only sweep and mop the floor once and clean the bathroom. Once I had to pad the hands of the housekeeping people and laugh it off in order to get towels so no I don’t recommend any hotel that lies to you, especially when you’re homeless watching your pennies and disabled to me that’s just taking advantage. I put a complaint in with choice and have not heard one word back you know they can get away with anything and stealing your money is one of the biggest ones think about it $750 a week to stay...
Read moreWe booked this hotel based off of pictures, location and amenities. It was terrible. Upon arrival, it appeared the hotel was abandoned with multiple rooms having windows and curtains open. Other than the multitude of shady people hanging out on or inside their cars and being asked to “come here” by several shady people on the walk inside. Check in was fine. The walk from check in revealed an entire hotel that smelled like wet dog, cigarettes and marijuana. The fitness center that has suck nice pics was closed with brown paper taped on the glass. Got up to our room to find a room in terrible disrepair. Linens and blankets were smelly and had multiple holes in them. The carpet was rolled up in spaces on the floor and would trip you as you walked. The bottom of the bathroom door looked like it had been chewed on for years by an animal. Hair and tissues in areas in the bathroom. Even the two chair in the room had holes in them. I refused to walk on the carpet barefoot. It was that bad. We decided to check out a day early. We just couldn’t take it any more. I told the front desk guy that we were going to go ahead and leave. He said everything was good to go. About an hour after we left, I noticed a charge ( I always use a card that requires approval) for $122. I declined the charge and contacted the front desk man I spoke to when we left. He seemed shocked that I called already. He then says, oh, it didn’t go through. I responded that I knew it didn’t because I didn’t allow it to go through but wanted to know what he was trying to charge us for. He got quite and then said, oh, it was an accident. Sorry sir. His demeans behavior on the phone lead me to believe that it was not an accident but shady business practices. The pictures that this property uses for advertising are FALSE. It is NOTHING like they make it appear. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. It is...
Read moreIf you can get a good price, this is an OK hotel. I stayed 5 nights in summer 2017 for business purposes. I found the staff to be friendly. By random chance, my room was a handicapped-accessible style on the first floor.
Unfortunately, the shower curtain came to within only about 4" of the floor, allowing roughly 1/2 cup of water out into the main bathroom at every shower, and I was trying to be careful in my showering, to counteract this tendency. It must be happening for a long time because the nearby baseboard tiles are pulling away from the wall board. Each time, I "mopped" the bathroom floor afterward with the floor mat and my towel to soak up the puddles. The room smelled slightly musty. The toilet ran continuously the first night, but after advising the front desk, it was fixed by night two.
The complementary breakfast was the usual iffy cuisine. Disc-shaped extra hard "boiled" eggs, and lightly cooked/steamed sausage patties, I suppose for an egg-based breakfast sandwich. Both the skim and 2% milk coolers ran out on day 1; by day 3 the hotel had put a "Not Working" sign on it, apparently rather than buy more milk (thus, cold cereal was not possible). As a chain, Quality Inn seems to have migrated to a coffee system where it mixes a liquid or powder concentrate coffee with hot water from a single-serving dispenser. It tastes pretty bad. And when the coffee concentrate begins to run out, you just get colored water. By my third morning, I got a gas-station donut and real brewed coffee instead. By my final morning, I went to Denny's (which is the only restaurant within 2-3 miles). The windows in the breakfast room were very dirty, you could not make out a license plate in the parking lot 15 ft. away through the...
