Horrifying.
I booked a place for my parents to stay when they were visiting family. I had helped them bring their stuff in and was instantly creeped out. The vibe is a very lived-in type of motel. The pictures depicted were not at all what they get. The carpet was dingy and smelled of mold and urine. The sheets on the bed had mysterious crusty stains on it that they claimed to be bleach. There was dried old blood splatters on the side of the mattress and no mattress protectors. The restroom smelled strongly of urine as if they mopped the floor with an ammonia soaked towel. There was dust and grime everywhere. The key didn't work three times and each time we went to get it preprogrammed, they asked rudely if we were doing it right.
Passing the housekeeping storage area should of just told me to stop there. Comforters and sheets were on the disgusting floor. When the housekeeper caught me starring at her folding sheets on the floor, she huffed and slammed the door in my face. When I went to the front office to attempt to change rooms, they asked us, "What did you expect? There's a Marriott down the street but you'll pay more than $120 a night." I canceled right then, thankfully he allowed it but not before belittling me and my understanding between a hotel and a motel. Either ways, I expect a fairly clean room that I wouldn't be scared for my parents to lay their head down on without catching something. As soon as he cancelled it, he ran out to go check the room, my dad was there waiting and had tried to start cleaning the restroom and we got yelled at for using their hospitality. Read moreStaff: very friendly, quick on helping with needs (extra linens, pillows, advice on where to go, etc.) house keeping came too early but met our room needs when we came back from outing, allowed us to check in an hour sooner with no extra fees.
Room: bathroom newly renovated, clean linens, rug could be deep cleaned but no visable stains nor does it leave dirt under your foot. Bed and pillows is SUPER COMFY with no bad bugs or stains (trust me, I looked)
AC worked great although it could be cleaned out.
Our electricity tripped, I called office they got it fixed in FIVE minutes.
Tons of parking!

Only complain is there was a hair in our freezer and bathroom floor. Not a 4 star hotel but it's definitely improved since those bad reviews. Had I read the reviews prior to renting, I would've NEVER came here with my family no matter how great the pricing was but I'm glad I didn't read the reviews bc it's nothing compared to all those bad reviews. Also, I've noticed the reviews was from a few years ago. I'm sure bc of those reviews it may have inspired them to want to do better. And it shows. I've also seen pix and I promise you, our rooms looked NOTHING like that. Also, my daughter and her family along with a friend and her husband each had their own room and their rooms was just as good as mine. They didn't have no complaints - well they had one. They wish housekeeping didn't knock on their door so early. They also didn't realize they could have asked them to come back to clean lol. Read moreUnfortunately, this hotel is not one we will return to: extremely rundown and not sure which rooms are portrayed on the website are. We rented a total of three rooms and all of them were rundown:||1) cigarette burns and holes on ALL THREE rooms' bedspreads.||2) We had to move from one room due to the horrible mold smell.||3) They installed wooden blinds on the windows, which is a very nice touch but did not bother taking off old railing.||4) suspicious stains all over the rooms' couch, carpets and blankets||5) Tiny towels ||6) broken air conditioning units that they tried to patch up with double sided tape instead or repairing.||7) Super noisy air conditioning and hotel in general||8) The pillows felt like lumps of coal and the mattress looked like it had not been replaced in years.||Overall, feeling of hotel which could be decent if they clean, disinfect, repair, and replace everything. My advice for the owners would be to please pay attention to the reviews and that if you are going to be in the hotel business, please offer a decent product. It does not have to be fancy, just clean, with no visible wear and tear, decent blankets, towels, pillows and mattresses. I rarely write negative reviews but with this one I hope that the owners will try and fix this hotel: this is a prime location and with a little bit of TLC they can offer a good product and make a bigger revenue with returning customers instead of one-time/will not return customers.
