The property is okay for the price. I booked here based on the other reviews and generally don't leave negative reviews. my opinion is its 2.5 stars. its not horriable not not good.||||The Pros||1.) close to Knott's Berry Farm||2.) fairly clean room||3.) has a pool ||4.) nice faux slate colored flooring||5.) reasonable close to Disney and other attractions.||6.) paid under $100.it was $90 after tax||7.) the woman working front desk was super nice.||||The Cons||1.) owners son (IT Guy / Maintenance Guy) had a condescending attitude and attempted to mislead me by saying it was my device not getting the signal causing the problem when I did a speed test from Fast.com it showed 3.0 mbps which he claimed is great wifi speed. which is NOT. I could not upload a web page in a reasonable and no chance of sending an email or downloading tickets.||||2.) if you have Sprint for your cellular service you will have NO signal at this hotel. they do not have access points or cell boosters.||||3.) thin walls, could hear every conversation in rooms on both sides.||||4.) guest next door smoked WEED. which is legal in California but I could smell it from my room which was unwanted. I would not book here if you have a family and don't like getting high.||||5.) Pool is next to CVS||||6.) CVS had a homeless guy who looked possibly strung out creeping around.||||7.) no room phone to contact hotel WIFI signal is bad. called from cell with low signal only to get busy signal as this hotel does not believe is ordering call-waiting or multiple lines.||||8.) wouldn't beat the Expedia price even through Expedia charges them a percentage.||||9.) no rewards or incentive to book direct.||||10.) little decor||||11.) small round table not large enough for anything other than an iPad,||||12.) next day moved a couple of blocks down and got WIFI, larger room...
Read moreI'm not sure where to begin. By far the worst establishment that I've been subjected to. The rooms are dirty from top to bottom. Food from previous guest in fridge as well as drawer. Stains on walls, chipped paint, no screens in window, broken blow dryer, low end toiletries, and the smell is unbearable. TV barely audible from blown speakers to project very basic cable. Who needs TV when as the sun goes down you are on the set of Cops/Gangland/Drugs Inc. The amount of criminal activity so blatantly displayed is comical. Funniest is that it seems to stem directly from the young male night manager who did multiple drug transactions right out in open! If you are even able to get a wink of sleep with all the unsavory characters roaming around like zombies through the night. Many male callers knocked on my door accidentally for what I assume is a working girl in the room next to me. Fast forward to checkout (no late checkout available) and you are thrown into a show about eviction. Starting with what I learned is owner barking at rooms to leave followed by her muscle who is also front desk receptionist (who is obviously under the influence of drugs/alcohol proven by slurred speak that worsens throughout day)who screams profanities and calls names at those who were unable to pay. Sadly I could go on and on. VERY UNSAFE, and not worth $1. ABSOLUTELY NOT FAMILY...
Read moreNOT FOR FAMILIES!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU CAN AVOID IT. We arrived at the Inn around 1am after spending time with family. The manager gave my husband the key to someone else's room. The occupants of that room were sitting outside their room partaking in some substances. A woman with ripped tights (short skirt and no coverage on her butt) walked out from behind a small structure by the pool and walked into one of the rooms. When we tried to open the second room and it wasn't working. The door lock seemed like it had a low battery and the manager had to come open the door. Once we got inside there was a dead bug on one of the beds and weird splatter on the AC unit on the wall. There were guys drinking out in front of that room when we pulled up to it. We have 3 small children and couldn't bring ourselves to unload them in this place. We gave the manager back the key and told him we didn't feel safe there. He didn't give us a hard time and told us to request a refund through our reservation and he'd give it to us. We drove further down the road and checked availability, that hotel was fully booked, I told them our situation and they said they saw police at the Inn all of the time. We had to search multiple sitea before trusting reviews to...
