What Patricia wrote is pretty much spot on, especially the experience walking into the lobby, the cat and the urine. The sign out front is in such disrepair, at first I thought the place was closed down. The lady at the front desk gave me some cheesy line about giving me a discount. The walkway in front of the 2nd floor rooms is bare plywood, at least for the rooms in the back. My room had a powerful stank odor. The TV is an old CRT style. Hadn't seen one of those in a while, but it did have cable TV and worked okay. All that said, the inside of the room and the bathroom was surprisingly clean. Only complaint there was that the tub drained very slowly. The carpet was fine, and the linens were fine. I didn't use the a/c or heat but they looked like they were 100 years old. The place sits right next to a grocery store so that's convenient. All in all, its bearable if you have no other choices, but I'd recommend you look...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed here kinda as a last resort since all the other hotels were booked...my fault for not reserving. Anyway, they had one room available and I took it. Since we have a king at home that we are used to, you can imagine how many pokes in the ribs I got from my wife trying to find room. Standard fare concerning the TV channels on a, get this, a picture tube TV! I could not access the wifi as it seemed to not be working which was a real bummer because I could not get a cell signal. ||Word of caution: this town seems to really hate T-Mobile. I was only able two get, at the most 2 bars of LTE, and that was when I drove to the...
Read moreI have never seen a messier front office at a motel. My thought was, they must be in the process of moving. But then I read the TripAdvisor reviews from 2014 and... I guess this has been going on for some time. Meanwhile my room was very clean and appealing. With a front window that opens and a window in the bathroom, I enjoyed delicious cross ventilation all night.||||The location is great - right next to the largest grocery store in town. No coffee maker, no fridge, no microwave, no laundry room; but wait - I rarely use those amenities anyway! The internet signal was strong, and that is important to me. ||||In short - a good price for a...
