My family and I came to grab some burgers after a long, stressful day and I have never seen disorganization like this before. The line was incredibly long and there was only one register open, the other being set aside for “bread and to-go orders”, though there was no one in line for those types of orders, so the set up seemed rather inefficient. There were employees actively cleaning and ignoring customers despite the long line, which felt incredibly unprofessional and unwelcoming. After waiting almost 20 minutes and seeing the person in front of us be served very slowly, the woman who took our order had to let us “give her a minute” while she organized some cups behind her. She also had to check in the back to see if the flavor of seltzer my mom wanted was still in stock, something I think should have already been know if she was the only one taking orders. We paid and sat to wait. My mom went to the ice cream shop next door to get dessert while we waited, and it took her less time to get through the ice cream line (which was to the sidewalk) and get us dessert than it took for us to get our order. While we waited, we also witnessed a young woman who we had seen previously cleaning behind the counter leave with her bag and then run back into the store saying “I forgot to clock out!!” She was worried about clocking out, with a long line still evident? No wonder she was cleaning! When our name was finally called, it took 5 minutes for us to get our food, as the person who called our name didn’t see us get up from a table that was 5 feet away and couldn’t wait 30 seconds before walking back into the kitchen. Looking into the bag, there was no napkins, no silverware (in an establishment which doesn’t have any finger food sides), and no seltzer that my mom paid extra for!! We were in the store a total of 45 minutes and I can’t believe we wasted our time. The food was good for the price, but the service was appalling. As a current food service worker, I am amazed that management allows this type of behavior to occur. I will not be returning after this...
Read moreI ordered the Mac and Cheese and was extremely disappointed from start to finish. First of all, when my food arrived, I immediately noticed a hair mixed into the dish. That alone is unacceptable and should never happen in any restaurant that claims to care about cleanliness and quality.
When I politely pointed this out to the server, instead of apologizing or showing any concern for the fact that I had someone’s hair in my food, they were downright rude and acted like it was my fault for complaining. There was no sense of professionalism or courtesy — just attitude and indifference.
After waiting a while, they finally brought out a replacement Mac and Cheese, which honestly made things even worse. It was barely cooked through — the pasta was still hard and the cheese wasn’t even properly melted. Instead of a creamy, flavorful dish, what I got was plain undercooked noodles with a sad handful of shredded cheese dumped on top as if they couldn’t be bothered to finish the job. It was obvious they didn’t care at all about fixing the problem properly.
What’s even more disappointing is that no one ever came over to check if the second dish was okay, and there was no manager in sight to make things right. The whole experience felt like I was an inconvenience to them rather than a paying customer who deserved a decent meal and basic respect.
I came here expecting a comforting, tasty meal and decent service — instead I got unsanitary food, rude staff, and an inedible replacement that I ended up not even eating. It was truly a waste of time and money.
Do yourself a favor and skip this place entirely if you care at all about quality food, cleanliness, and customer service. There are plenty of other restaurants that actually take pride in what they serve and know how to treat people properly — this is definitely not...
Read morePoorly managed restaurant, and very slow service.
We entered at 10:20am to order food, the kitchen was supposed to open at 10:30am. So we were in line for 20 minutes, manager came to say that they will delay the kitchen opening because they were not ready yet and we had to wait even longer.
After a long time of waiting, we ordered a few items in the menu and they said they did not have some of the items displaying there, so we asked for something else and we asked no tomato but they still added the tomato.
I have ran 5 star restaurants around the US and my best advice is have your staff members and kitchen ready to open in a punctual time, train employees to have a sense of urgency, listen to feedback of customers and receive it in a respectful way without trying to make excuses of why you are under performing and make sure to have what you are selling in the menu in inventory otherwise it creates disappointment in people that cannot eat some of the other items displayed because of food allergies.
EDIT: Look at the response below, very unprofessional, lot of excuses of why is underperforming, there is no empathy or kindness in the response but a defensive response of why is okay to not deliver well a service.
