Columbine Park — Attraction in Buena Vista

This was a really nice park. Could use some reminders for people to keep their dogs on a leash or under voice command, which should be common sense, and an occasional uncintrolled dig needs to be watched for. This is a very nice park right off the highway and near downtown Buena Vista . A great place to just relax and read about or take a dip in the water they say the fishing is really good here i'm not much of a fisher though it's just a really nice calm quiet place in the summer. Also has concerts every thursday night in the summer. Now for the down part in the winter the lake is strange and it's dirty and nasty looking. All in all I do love it there and you will...

Colloquially known as "K's Park", as it sits right behind the K's Dairy Delight, this is a great park for kids, walkers through teenagers. It's also got a large amount of shaded grassy areas, a bathroom, and it sits right next to Cottonwood Creek. The creek is usually low enough that it's fun to kick around in it for a while.
