Stayed December 2013. This is a very basic motel, but better than many. Clean, non-smoking, good-sized room with tons of drawer space and wooden hangers in the closet. Needs repairs and a reinstatement of a security lock inside the room door, but clean and we felt safe overall. There is a clean, cold mini fridge, mini microwave, instant coffee, a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable, I'd love it at home. DH could move around and it didn't bother me at all. The sheets on our bed were good quality, the same (even the white tone-on-tone striped design) as I buy from Target 100% cotton and well-made. Bring your own pillows if you want to sit up in bed, because these are thin and flat, bordering on useless. Bring a blanket or two if get cold and you don't want to run the heater, the blanket and bedspread don't do anything for cold nights but would be perfect for summer. Although the heater works well, it's very noisy and you can't watch TV. The TV is a large flat-screen and mounted on wall opposite the bed, but totally viewable from the table and chairs, too.
This location is blessed with a great staff (those who I met), the woman who provided housekeeping on 2nd floor is excellent, very nice and professional reception gals are an asset to the Rodeway corporation and couldn't be better first contacts for any business! Upstairs in the rear is a small plain deck with a table and chairs overlooking the adjacent wonderfully green golf course - lovely for my morning coffee and paper! There are complimentary mini muffins, danish and cold cereal in the lobby in the morning, but I skipped it. I brought my own 4-cup coffee brewer, fresh ground coffee and filters so I was happy. I've learned over the years that I most likely will have to provide for my own comfort unless staying at an ultra expensive luxury hotel. EVERY trip I bring my own pillow, 4cup coffee maker, fresh ground coffee, filters, half and half and bottled water. Most times, I bring a pretty little face towel just because I'm weird that way. I don't know what in the world people are expecting for anything less than $100 these days and even then, you can get much worse than this Rodeway! Seriously, for what I paid ($55 total) I'd stay here again in...

In a world where every tiny detail tends to be scrutinized, I find it necessary to highlight the exceptional efforts and genuine warmth extended by the hardworking staff at Rodeway Inn.
While some may focus on minor imperfections, it's crucial to recognize the tireless work put into maintaining and cleaning both the premises and rooms. The dedication of the staff is palpable, and it's evident that they take pride in ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for every guest.
Addressing any concerns I had was a breeze, thanks to the outstanding front desk team. If there was an issue with a socket or a flickering light in the bathroom, all it took was a simple conversation, and they promptly fixed it. The responsiveness and efficiency with which they handle such matters reflect a commitment to guest satisfaction that is truly commendable.
The front desk ladies and housekeeping staff deserve special recognition for their exceptional service. In a world where everyone seems to be in a hurry, these individuals take the time to not only address concerns but also to welcome guests with genuine warmth. I've had a challenging couple of years, and when I felt lost and unsure of where to turn, Rodeway Inn welcomed me with open arms.
Even moments of my own forgetfulness, like locking my key in the room multiple times a day and even in the middle of the night, were met with nothing but grace and understanding. Not once did they give me a disapproving look or an attitude – just a warm smile and the reassurance that they were there to help.
In a sea of accommodation options, Rodeway Inn stands out not just for its comfortable rooms but for the extraordinary people who make it a home away from home. I wholeheartedly appreciate the hard work, dedication, and genuine kindness exhibited by the staff. For anyone seeking not just a place to stay but an experience filled with warmth and understanding, Rodeway Inn is the perfect choice. This is more than a hotel; it's a sanctuary of genuine...
Read moreThe location took a bit to find. The GPS told us to turn in too early. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with a fold-out couch. The room had a refridgerator and a microwave. The window unit air conditioners were really old and outdated. The room was 85-90 degrees as the a/c was not left on, and it took about 4 hours to get the room to a semi-comfortable 76 degrees. There was no bedding for the couch, so we called down for some. She brought pillows and sheets, but no blanket. So we had to call down again for a blanket. There were only 3 towels for a 5 person room. No problem, called down for 2 more, and realized they hadnt brought the blanket yet. So I asked and she said the towels were in their laundry could we get them in the morning? I said no, we wanted to take showers tonight. So she asked if we could come down to the lobby in about 15 minutes. Um... ok fine. So I went down and saw 2 people at the registration desk. If there were 2 people at the desk, why couldn't one of them bring up the towels and the blanket? In the morning, there was a free breakfast. 3 types of cereal, yogurt that wasnt refridgerated, and a couple of mini muffins and some bananas. Less than impressive, but it was included. At checkout, an older gentleman was there. We asked for a receipt for the room charges, but he had no idea how to print one and had to waot for his daughter to get back from bringing her son to school. We had to wait another 30 minutes. I understand this hotel was run by one family. But anyone who is left in charge of the facility should be able to handle a guest checking out. The decor was 70's. The sheets and the fold out couch's mattress had stains. There were clothes left from a previous guest inside the couch. The bathroom vent didnt have a switch to turn on. After taking a shower, it was so stifling I could barely breathe. All in all, the beds worked and the a/cs worked. You really get what you pay for. The reason for the 3star rating was because of the lack of service. There didnt seem to be many guests at the hotel. But multiple inconveniences for being either understaffed or...
