My stay at 250 Estero Blvd Unit #201 fell short of expectations for several reasons: The unit itself is quite dated. Both bathrooms feature old-fashioned shower curtains that cling while showering, and there are no proper toilet paper holders—just rolls placed on the tank. Additionally, there are no hooks or appropriate places to hang towels. One bathroom shelf above the toilet is hanging lopsided and appears unstable. The master bedroom closet contains miscellaneous storage bags, creating an uninviting impression. Throughout the apartment, curtains are dusty, outdated, and ill-fitting, particularly in the bedrooms. The balcony is cluttered with worn-out beach gear, toys, and cracked furniture that has clearly been damaged by sun exposure. Unfortunately, we were not informed in advance that the building is undergoing construction. We were awakened by construction noise as early as 7:30 AM on the first two days. The parking lot contained stacked glass doors and construction equipment, and scaffolding with workers was present throughout our stay—none of which was disclosed at the time of booking. The condition of the pool was also disappointing. It appeared unclean, bottom of the pool scraped and/or dirty and poorly maintained, and we did not feel comfortable allowing our children—or ourselves—to swim in it. When we contacted Coastal Properties to ask about alternatives, such as day passes to nearby properties or a public pool, we received a dismissive response stating that “the pool is maintained by the association,” with no effort made to assist further. Yet the property is marketed as having a usable pool. Overall, this was not the relaxing and enjoyable getaway I had hoped for. While the location has potential, significant updates and improved communication are needed to meet guest expectations. I hope this feedback helps inform future improvements for a better guest experience.

We stayed at a beach front condo for a week June 4-10. It was an amazing condo. The view was spectacular, the beds were so comfortable (but needed vacuumed- they had some dry skin and lint in the mattress holes), the vacuum in this unit is terrible, and so was the coffee pot. When we arrived the coffee pot had a spring and another piece in the holder. I put it together, but it leaked water every time that we used it. The assortment of dishes for the kitchen was amazing. The decor was great. The condo was clean, but not overly clean - the dresser drawers and bathroom drawers had some lint and dirt in them, and baseboards in the kitchen and bathrooms could use a dusting/ cleaning. I am a clean freak. The beach accessibility was amazing. There are several stores down the road to walk to. The food in the area was great. We were not prepared to be ate alive by no seeum bugs. Our fishing captain recommended baby oil rubbed all over your body and long sleeve clothes at dusk. This helped tremendously. It would be nice if the parking pass was on the kitchen counter, instead of having to stop at the Coastal Vacations office to grab this. We appreciated the small welcome packets in the bathrooms and kitchen. The sponge and dish soap, dishwasher and laundry tabs were great to have. Overall we loved our visit, and would come back! Thanks for the hospitality Fort Myers!

A Strong 4.5 Stars!! Location location!!! It was perfectly placed near Salty Sams and a ton of restaurants! We enjoyed the beach, pirate boat, Top Golf, boat rental, and it was all in close proximity! We loved the beautiful house and upgrades! We fished the dock all week. Met friendly neighbors. My 80 yr old dad had the downstairs apartment to himself. We had everything we needed. We walked back from the beach in 15 mins and tried the trolley to the beach once! Only drawback for not going full 5 star has to do with the house being built next door which was not their fault of course but I didn’t sleep in as they start early. Don’t let this stop you from booking! Just get up, get your coffee and start the beautiful day! Minor note .. Time to upgrade the sheets. Second minor note… I had a concern that my dad was going to trip on the outside entry transition after the gate to the patio. It drops down to sand. Then back up. Thankfully no trip and fall! Other than these two minor grievances, we honestly LOVED BIG YELLOW!!!

My wife and I have been staying at Harbour House At The Inn for the past 6 years at least once a year, some times 2 times a year and we have always loved our experience. The location is great. Even after the hurricane, some of our favorite places are starting to re-open like Petey's Upper Deck, Mojo's Coffee and there are a few new places opening also. The rooms are nice, they're clean, they're comfortable. What is at issue is the new ownership/management companies. The rates I find very reasonable. But the fee's have gotten WAY OUT OF HAND. There is no daily room service now as before. There is now a cleaning fee of $380.34 that you have to pay. AND YOU are still required to strip the bed when you leave, and take out all of the trash and place it in the dumpster in the parking garage or you will pay an additional fee. $50.00 just for them to take out the trash. You will now pay a 14% Property Service charge, (for what service I do not know), mine was $65.18. Before the hurricane this was called a Resort fee and it was only $30.00 . If you don't put your parking pass back in their lock box when you leave you will be charged $150.00. You can't take it to the onsite property manager because they are not there. I went to see them on Friday the 20th 4 times to give them my rental car information and there was no one there. If you move the patio furniture away from the corner of the building and don't put it back, or move the dining table away from the wall so 4 people can sit around the table to eat together and don't put it back you will be charged $250.00. There is a long list of additional fee's you may be liable for and they will email them to you. Over and over again. Hope you like emails because you will get at least 2 a day while you are there. I was receiving 2 emails a week for 6 weeks before my stay between Costal Vacation Properties and RedAwning Rentals. Check out time is 10:00 am sharp. The day I was to check out their cleaning lady came into our unit at 8:45 am...while my wife was in the shower. Needless to say she was showed the way out of the unit very quickly. So as much as I love the property, love the location, I do not love this ownership/management partnership. So I will be moving down the beach somewhere else.

There was no option that I could reply to your response so I will add to the review. Here are my charges:

1 apartment $465.58 11.50 % TAX $104.78 US$ 380.34 Cleaning fee per stay $380.34 14 % Property service charge $65.18

Cleaning fee plainly...

We didn’t even check in! This place is terrible. First of all, this place doesn’t have any negative reviews, which tells me they must delete them. I don’t know anyone who would stay at this property for $375 a night. We arrived in Fort Myers at 7am the morning of the 22nd for check in. We waited around until 10:30 and called for early check in. I was told that someone had just checked out of the room and to call back after 1:30pm once the unit was cleaned. No problem. We went and saw the beach, did a little shopping, and ate some lunch. When we called back at 1:30pm, I talked to Leann. She said absolutely not. We cannot check in early, they were still cleaning, and they have a strict no early check in policy. Well that was a first but ok. We actually ended up sitting in the parking lot from 2:30-4pm. Funny thing was, there was no cleaning service or anyone at the property for that matter. They ended up sending someone to the property who stayed there until about 10 mins before 4pm. Never even addressing us sitting in our car. We get in the property and the air conditioning in broken. It is sweltering hot. There is no toilet paper, and the bed are old spring mattresses that were not able to sleep on. It stunk. It was dirty. The chairs at the dining table were shredded. It looked like they had been in the sun for 5 years. We called to share our experience and ask to be move somewhere with air conditioning and better beds. After Leann said, we couldn’t be moved just because the chairs were old and the bed were uncomfortable. She said they would send over someone to fix the air Conditioner and we could wait outside until it was fixed. I was so upset by her lack of care and professionalism. I said no and asked her if we could be moved once more. She put me on hold for 10 minutes, came back on the line and said she had spoken to the owner and she would not be moving us, that she was give us a full refund. She even explained that I would have to call VRBO because they don’t refund that portion. We had to drive 45 minutes to find another place, which by the way Hyatt Bonita Springs is AMAZING and was only $400 more for the whole 5 days, but anyway, Leann never gave me my refund so I now have to go fight them and dispute the charge, when we didn’t even get checked in to a dive place with no air conditioning, toilet paper, and rude staff. Save yourself the extreme headache and stay...

What an incredible property this is! The home is beautiful and so wonderfully decorated. It’s very inviting with a touch of beach elegance that makes it feel like a proper seaside vacation. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very modern with gorgeous countertops and well stocked with up-to-date modern conveniences for a simple meal or hosting a dinner party. There is a very large TV in the living room and plenty of seating options which provides a wonderful evening of entertainment after a day out in the sun. The real star of the house is the outside pool, patio, and barbecue area. The outside furniture is very comfortable under a shaded area with ceiling fans to help with extra cooling if needed along with a TV mounted outside for viewing sports or music videos while enjoying the outdoors. There are multiple pool chairs and chase lounges around the pool, which made it very relaxing and perfect for sunbathing. The pool temperature is warm and very inviting, with the added feature of an upper hot tub with water cascading down into the pool. The whole pool and deck area is enclosed with a screen material that keeps bugs, creatures and debris out of the pool and patio area. It’s so clean and tidy! The outside area beyond the screen is well manicured with grass, Palm trees and bushes that provide a tropical feel while also providing privacy. Off to the side of the outside patio area is a barbecue station, which is perfect for grilling after a day of sun and fun!

There are several beautiful beaches within 5 to 10 minutes of this property. Additionally, there’s a mini golf course down the street that provided an afternoon of fun when we were done swimming for the day. There are several grocery stores, wine and spirit stores, and several Mom and Pop type local ice cream shops within minutes of the house which are perfect for grabbing a delicious treat on the way home from the beach.

This property was perfect for a family with children or for a group of adults who are looking for a very relaxing vacation.

Would highly recommend this property to friends and family and will definitely be making plans to...
