First, let me say if you are staying on Fort Meyers Beach rent a gold cart, it is by far the easiest, fastest and most enjoyable way to get around. Second, rent the cart from Island Carts FMB. Island Carts is the easiest place to work with, they drop off and pickup the cart to your door at whatever time you decide, and are prompt and will work with you if your plans change. Their fleet of carts, both 4 and 6 passenger, are brand new with the latest technology all the way around including lithium batteries that provide longer run times, faster acceleration and shorter charging times. The carts are all have Bluetooth radio and full safety gear and are 100% street legal. In my case the owner himself delivered the cart to our vacation house and took all the time we needed to instruct us how to operate the cart the even offered additional advice about where to eat and shop on island. Island Carts was the overall best value as well. The rental price was very completive especially considering the carts offered by Island Carts are newer and superior to the competitors offerings on the island. The rental process is also very easy and fast, it's nearly 100% online, all I had to do in person was show my drivers license and insurance card when the cart was dropped off and everything else was done in advance online in less then 5 minutes. Overall it was a great experience and I'm very glad we rented a cart for the 5 days were were vacationing in FMB. Bobby and Tim were amazing!! They delivered a golf cart last minute to our place and it was so nice! The other golf carts on the island couldn’t compete with theirs! It had a Bluetooth system, rims, a back up camera, plenty of room in a 4 seater for 4 people and our stuff, a digital display that shows your speed & cup holders for everybody! I know I’m leaving some stuff out but it had everything you needed plus some! It was an electric golf cart too, which I saw other companies had advertised that gas carts were better because some places didn’t have anywhere to plug them in. They brought it to me fully charged and even with the extra time I still had 40% battery left when they picked it up. Plus, I didn’t have to spend money for gas which is ridiculously high!

It rained some of the time we had it so I called and asked if I could pay for a few more hours and they let me keep it for free! I wouldn’t expect that though. I’m sure they can’t do that for It everyone, especially during the peak season. It was so awesome that they were able to do that for us though and my kids and I really appreciated them!
