This is a great place. They're in the process of rebuilding a restaurant behind the Marina Village at Snug Harbor. The restaurant was lost to one of the hurricanes last year or the year before. If you have the option, the 6th & 7th floors will best your best bet all the way around. They also have a roof top deck with tables, chairs and an area with a small hot tub.
From room 604 we had perfect views of the water (incl. the pool). It's very enjoyable to watch the boats, yachts & catamarams coming & going. We saw dolphins almost every evening from the patio deck. Even though the building is near the bridge ~ the traffic noise is very minimal.

Read moreMy husband and I vacationed with another couple and I have to say this was one of our best vacations out of many. The resort is great! There is a rooftop deck with hot tub which overlooks the bay and views of the Gulf of Mexico. The area restaurants are wonderful. One of the most important assets of this resort is the great staff. Lisa and Laurie went out of there way to make sure any needs were met and were the best representatives of a resort I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Lisa even gave me her cell phone number in case I had any problem on Sunday when the front office is closed. Wonderful,...
Read moreThe new Snug Harbor Restaurant at this location has a pretty sweet location. Right on the bay, the location is perfect and the view are nice. Now on to the restaurant. Great drinks, exactly as ordered. On to the food. We ordered 7 of the appetizers. They were Ok, nothing special and the bacon wrapped shrimp were sour. We sent them back and they were kind enough to refund us. Dinners were ok but nothing to write home about. Simple dishes with not a lot of care. My wife got sick by the end of dinner from the earlier bad shrimp, ruining our night out. She got physically sick twice while still there and then half the night from food what I assume was that bad shrimp dish. Very disappointing. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend the food as of January 24, 2020. The drinks yes. Views yes. ...
