WARNING, DO NOT STAY HERE. I noticed my previous review on this hotel has been removed. I will leave another because the safety of others is important to me. Shame on the Hotel manager for removing an honest review A year ago in March I booked this particular hotel for a work trip. I’ve never experienced anything like the situation that occurred while I stayed here at this hotel. Single woman, traveling alone. I’ve booked other hotels so it’s a typical protocol for check in. Check in at front desk, get key card for room, and go to room. I did just that. It was late, I was tired from working all day, went into the room, noticed an article of clothing on the floor. It was the only thing really in the room. I thought to myself surely they did not give me someone else’s room. Hotels just don’t do that. Maybe they didn’t clean it because it is a low end hotel. I go to sleep from being exhausted. I wake up at 3am to the “maintenance man” screaming at me, 2 belligerent other people yelling at me. They claimed I had broken into their room, tried to steal their things. I was undressed in the bed, and asked politely to have a moment to get dressed, the “maintenance man” yelled at me and told me not to move. He asked how I got in there, if I was even at the right hotel. I said calmly I can show you my booking information I just need to get dressed. I told them the man at the front desk gave me a key card to this room, I had done nothing wrong. Why didn’t I go back to the front when I seen an article of clothing? Because surely they would never give me someone else’s room. Two drunk people still yelling, not understanding how someone else could be in their room, the supposed maintenance man was drunk as well, now they are calling police. I thought I was going to be arrested, however thank God the police did an absolute wonderful job at addressing the situation. The police helped me so much when I was utterly embarrassed. The police confirmed I was telling the truth, it was the person at the front desk who had been in the wrong and messed up. The police also confirmed the people who greeted me were drunk, and disorderly. The police told me this is not how a hotel is supposed to treat their guests. They escorted me to a new room, told me to speak to the manager the next day and that they could essentially back me up with what happened. I did just that, spoke to the manager told him my horrific experience and everything that happened. He rejected all accountability, and said the hotel doesn’t even have a “maintenance man” so I didn’t know what I was talking about. I told him I spoke with a lawyer, the manager still refused to issue a refund. 5 minutes later I got a call back from the nice lady at the front desk who informed me I would indeed get a full refund. I did NOT receive any kind of refund, no accommodations, not even a simple apology. This hotel is ran by imbeciles, and unless you want a traumatic experience, please stay some where else.

My room was clean and well kept. Hotel "accoutrements" were normal/average, your two cups of each type, bottle of water, selection of coffees and teas for a Keurig, shampoos and soaps, etc. Attendants Antonio and Jaylin were smiling, happily offered advice on luggage checking, and knew quite a bit of history about the area - a nice break from sometimes sullen hotel employees. Price is very reasonable for the area. The area itself, while I wouldn't call it upscale, is nice because there are quite a number of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. In particular the hookah bar across the parking lot is very laid back, with a diverse selection of board games. It was a great place to read a book for a few hours. One major downside is that walking-wise you are locked into a certain area by major roads, and if driving it is a tough left turn onto a busy road. If you are confused by the multiple hotels in one building, they are all owned by the same investment company and connected by one long hallway. In conclusion, I would say this is a solid hotel for a traveler who wants to be within 15 minutes of the airport but would also like to be able to pop out and visit a BBQ joint, caribbean, mexican, etc., within a 5-minute walk.

I had to change my room twice due to the rooms being filthy. im now in my third room where i discovered a sheet over top of another sheet which has blood on it see via pictures this place should not be open it is the most disgusting place ive ever stayed at im highly disappointed in this establishment i was planning on not staying here but the convenience it was to the airport and places to go i stayed i shouldve left after the first red flag.

WARNING, DO NOT STAY HERE.

I will leave another because the safety of others is important to me. Shame on the Hotel manager for removing an honest review

A year ago in March I booked this particular hotel for a work trip.

Shame on Radisson. Shuttle: (From: ex-public transport driver) After taxing flights, etc, riders don't care to listen to your radio music. Before starting your shift, do a safety pre-trip, especially check that seat belts are working. Mine wasn't. And never make a ( take a chance)left hand turn in front traffic. Without a seat belt, it was not a good feeling. Suggestion: Use inbound and outbound vehicles, so your not limited to having to make up the arrival to airport time. Location: Convenient, but more so for the patrons visiting the "Gentlemen's Club" across the alleyway. Appearance: Lacking any sense of ownership pride. Customer service: Night counter attendant guy was very friendly, the morning lady was too busy talking on her phone to keep the 1 coffee decanter filled. She did apologize for being on "her" phone, " talking to her boss" oook. Amenities: Had to hunt in doors for creamer, lobby cooler was 1/4 full, with coke and energy drink as choices. No choice of water, for our 3 night stay. Room: One queen bed, comfy, and appeared clean, but sometimes best to not look. In room Keurig coffee maker, all coffee provided was de-caffeinated. But, yah, there was creamer. Bathroom was clean. Barking dog 2 rooms down was annoying. Hallways: No smells, but always had linens or a garbage bag or two in the hallway. And of course stains, wasn't sure if the red was blood or wine, or? Breakfast: not a hotel provided continental breakfast. The complex houses a events banquet room that serves breakfast. The place was empty, (hmm) so service was fast. The older gentleman was nice. Ordered coffee, a omelet, toast and american fries. Coffee, served in styrofoam cups, was a (small)step above instant coffee. Food arrived, fries were crispy shoestring, omelet was great. Toast, he forgot it. I informed him and he came back with two crunchy cold un buttered pieces on the same china( styrofoam plates with food dividers). I take my plastic knife, and prepare to butter the cold toast, all for naught, our wrinkled table clothed covered , table had no butter, or other choices for toast. Once again, after informing the older gentlemen, he brought us butter and jams. Sign out was easy, the guy was fast. The female attendant was outside with acquaintance, enjoying a cigarette; unfortunately, as the lobby doors were opened and closed, the cigarette smoke migrated into the lobby. Gross! Long short, I was surprised to find we paid that much for such lack of pride in a hotel with a Raddison Marque on it. Won't happen again. The second star is for the...

Honestly, I was very nervous to be in this hotel, as I read many of the reviews. This hotel was booked for an unexpected layover. It was my first time out of the Charlotte Airport and I was very scared and upset about the situation.

As for the service, the shuttle was at the airport as I was approaching the shuttle section for pick up. I had called for the shuttle as soon as my plane parked at the gate knowing that I might not be able to rely on the shuttle given other reviews. I believe the drivers name was Carl, very nice man! Once I got to the hotel, the front desk woman was awesome! Very efficient and sweet. In the morning, the shuttle was parked in front of the entrance and we left a couple minutes early! Service was great!

For the rooms, I was really scared I was going to see bugs after reading the reviews, but as far as I could see, it was clean and bug free. I did my bed bug check and not a single thing in sight 😊 The bathroom was very nice, took a hot shower in the morning prior to departure and I just wanted to sit in there the whole morning. The only thing I had trouble with was the TV. The guide didn't line up with how the TV actually worked, but it wasn't terrible. Was kind of fun having to channel surf.

For the location, I was nervous about this too, but it was no where near as sketchy as the reviews said. Yes, there's a gentleman's club across from the hotel, but there's also a gaye between the hotel and the businesses, so I didn't see anything that seemed alarming, at least in my experience. I know a few people said that the hotel smelt like weed, but I didn't smell this (and I hate the smell of weed). The elevator had an industrial smell, as if you were walking past a construction site, but I'm assuming they may have remodeled the elevator recently and that's why.

No complaints on my part. I hope other people can have the same experience I had. To those who have had an unpleasant experience, I'm very sorry. Without your reviews, they would have not known these issues and...
