Waffle House — Restaurant in Bonifay

There is not an option for zero stars or I’d select that because that’s what they deserve. I visited this Waffle House the other day and my visit was horrible, I will never return. My servers name was Kimberly, she was terrible. She wasn’t very friendly and she provided the worst service I’ve ever received from any restaurant. To begin with she was in the back room and didn’t acknowledge us for atleast 5 minutes, once she acknowledged us she took another 5 minutes to bring back our drinks which were wrong. (I ordered coke and she gave me pibb.) She then took our order. I ordered a Texas bacon patty melt and requested no onion because I’m allergic to them which it had onions when it came out so I requested for it to be remade and she caught an attitude with me. When I finally had my food remade, it had no onions this time but it was burnt. (The bacon and patty was.) I didn’t bother to ask for it to be remade again because I knew it’d be the same situation over again, but I did request for it to be removed from my bill because I didn’t even take a bite of it and she didn’t remove it. I then asked to speak to the manger “gutter” or something like that was his name and he didn’t correct the problem either. While sitting there during my visit I heard many remarks made about workers and customers that shouldn’t be made in the work place definitely not in the open where others can hear. I love waffle house. It's one of my favorite go to places while traveling, late night date night, hanging out with friends, or even eating alone. I am an extremely picky eater and most places I go screw up my order in some fashion. Which is fine, we all make mistakes. I keep going back and love making a point to try out different locations. This is my first time at this location and realistically probably my last as I'm just passing through town and let me say, I don't write reviews unless it's really good or horribly bad. Our cook, Michael, went above and beyond when it came to preparing our food. Asked us questions other cooks do not. And actually got my stuff right. The service was fantastic! our orders were taken in a timely fashion manner!our waitress was very friendly helpful and efficient! Our food was delicious to the eyes and very well plated! The chocolate chip waffle was one of the orders it was So well plated and prepared,the chocolate chips were evenly preportioned melting into an exact amount of butter, the taste was simply deliciously soft warm waffle chocolate heaven.The other order was 2 hash browns with ham chess mushrooms and onions .hot! melting deliciously cheesy goodness! mushrooms that are fresh cut ,the hash browns golden crisp on the outer edges,and tender moist warm bursting with flavor of the ham onions mushrooms!!if you haven't been here you should !
