Bellisimos Pizza — Restaurant in Cinnaminson Township

Lost a new customer because the owner has a temper! 1st visit: Dine in. Because of the reviews, we decided to try a couple slices on National Pizza Day, Saturday late afternoon/early evening. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We expressed this was our 1st time there. What I suspect was the owner, sat in front of us, eating a hoagie and watching the tv. He did not acknowledge our existence at any time. But that's no deal breaker. There were no pizzas in the display cases for slices so we ordered Fried Ravioli & a large pepperoni pizza. Service was pretty tough but it wasn't terrible. The fried ravioli was good. I really liked it. Pizza was pretty greasy & the crust super soggy. Still tasted good though. Flavorful. So we decided to give Bellissimos another try the next weekend (side note: they are/were closed Sundays). 2nd try: delivery. Ordered via Slice app. Order was correct and delivery was speedy and the driver was courteous. Food was good. Pizza was much better. 3rd try: The next weekend after that. Delivery. Phone order taken by female employee. Same fast delivery, same courteous driver, food good. 4th and final order: Tuesday night, delivery. Ordered via telephone with what I suspect to be the owner. He sounded busy/distracted. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, square cut. I had mentioned we were ordering the same thing as last time (every time) just in case they store that info in the computer like other places do. Food delivered. Cheese pizza, not square cut. Concerned they had accidentally sent us someone elses order, I called back, and told the owner I thought they had sent us the wrong order. I repeated our order and was greeted immediately with arrogance, insults and an unwillingness to admit or offer any type of solution try to correct the mistake. He told me that I did not order a pepperoni pizza. Repeatedly. He literally denied making any mistakes on my order. Regarding resolution, I mean, technically he did sarcastically "offer" to CHARGE me for a new pizza. He added, "I've been in the business for 30 years and never heard ANYONE ever order a large pepperoni pizza. Who does that?!" He exclaimed. Literally, he was yelling at me on the phone. He told me he didn't want us to be his customers and to never call his store again. I was stunned how he rapidly became really aggressive, loud, & insulting. I just wasn't at all expecting that. I ultimately asked for a refund after the verbal abuse. That's when he said, I'm gonna send you the pepperoni pizza and you never come here again." I told him to keep his pizza and stay away from my home! He didn't listen. He sent it anyway. Didn't eat it. He could learn a thing or two from his competitor down the street. The service at Di Vinenzo's (we are also new customer to them as well) is remarkably superior to most customer service. The owner of Di Vincenzos is generous, kind, patient and appreciative... not burned out and bitter like the owner at Bellisima in Cinnaminson. So, my recommendation would be, order pizza from Di Vincenzos down the street. But if you really want to try Bellissimos, order online and don't expect anyone to care about service or accuracy. To date, I've NEVER been treated so poorly as a customer by anyone, ever. The pizza is good though and the driver is cool.

UPDATE in response to the owner: I wouldn't let you offer a solution? You & I both know that isn't true. The real problem is how inappropriate, aggressive, unkind and misogynistic your behavior was towards me. Maybe you're really a swell guy. Maybe this experience made you think about being a better person. Who knows. I hope so. For now, I'm hungry and I am going to order a pepperoni pizza from...

OMG!!! Bellisimos Pizza has the “BEST” American Hoagies that I’ve had in a very very long time!! The bread and meats are ALWAYS FRESH, they DO NOT cut the ends (which to me makes the sandwich because I LOVE the ends), you get lots of lettuce, the right amount of tomatoes, onions and peppers too if you want them. It’s the PERFECT sandwich and I can tell it’s made with much love, joy and pride 🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰!!!

I’ve been going here for the past 6 months for my foods and no matter what I’ve ordered from pizzas, cheesesteak/chicken steak/tuna/flounder hoagies, crispy fried chicken salads, onion rings, French fries, mozzarella sticks to my all time favorite American hoagie it’s ALL been on point, fresh and delicious 🤤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩!!

I usually get the salad with scoops of tuna salad on top, which is absolutely hands down the best i've ever had. But no matter what I get there, all the food is always super fresh and seasoned and cooked perfectly. The owners and employees are always so friendly and just lovely people. In this area there are SOOOO many similar places that you can choose a different restaurant everyday but our family chooses bellissimo's for so many reasons.
