I went to cutting crew with my six year old daughter and I was really disappointed with the interaction my daughter had with the woman cutting her hair. I will never go back based on this experience. Usually anyone dealing with a child is happy and has conversations but this woman I wish i had gotten her name didnt smile once and seemed very upset and very burdened to even have to cut her hair. My daughter was excited to give her a sticker she had just gotten which was completely ignored by the stylist. My daughter wanted her hair washed first because lets admit we all love and it hurt the back of her head so she kept readjusting and the salonist kept commenting on how she was soaking everything. Which actually is fine its just a cloth and her own clothes i didnt mind at all. She seemed very angry about this. Once it was time to cut her hair she just kept speaking loudly head down head down if your eyes move your head moves. She is six. My daughter spoke a few times to the salonist and she didnt even say anything back. Her cut is adorable and I love it. But no person let alone child should have to be perfect to sit there not moving at all and endure a haircut by a miserable woman who acts like you are a burden to her. I apologized to my daughter after we left and told her i would never make her go back there for a cut. It was the worst experience we have ever had. The other woman in the store was very nice talking with me and my daughter and had her smiling- I wish she had been the one to cut her hair! Anyways. Very disappointed with our...
Read moreI have been going to Cutting Crew for years. I have really liked the staff and have my favorite stylist there. The best part of going there is because I don't have to have an appointment and can go when I can fit it in. Well they have started a call in system to hold your spot. So I get there and I am told there is a 45 minute wait but the customers aren't there yet. They called in to hold their spots. My haircut takes 15 minutes or 20 at the most. So if those customers come in they have do theirs first. My thought is what if they don't show up for an hour or longer? I still have to wait? Three other people walked in after me and walked right back out after hearing the wait time. So after a few minutes I called another business to ask if they accept walk-ins and they did and there was no wait. I went to that business and got right in. I was completely done walking out the door in 20 minutes. Guess who else walked in the door, the three other people who left Cutting Crew after hearing about the wait. Unfortunately Cutting Crew lost my business tonight. I found another business that...
Read moreA couple weeks ago my hair was just feeling so dry and disgusting that I decided to go and get a professional blow out to make me feel better. The blowout that I got was by far the worst blowout I’ve ever gotten, I could’ve done better at home. When she turned me to the mirror I wanted to cry. I even got a deep conditioning treatment since my hair felt so gross but I’m certain it did absolutely nothing. The blowout was extremely dry and stiff. The girl doing my hair was super nice but she was new, which I understood so I tried making some suggestions and showing pictures of how my hair normally looks when I get it blown out professionally. After getting little to no progress and some passive aggressive attitude, she brought out her manager who was also passive aggressive at first, but by the time she fixed the blowout she loosened up and was actually really nice. I tipped the younger girl anyways because I felt bad but I wish I hadn’t bc she was realll passive aggressive as I was leaving....
