Wegmans Pharmacy — Local services in City of Hornell

Wish I could do 0 stars. I called last night to see if my prescription was ready. The worker said they could get to work on it and possibly have it ready that night. I told her don’t even worry about it I’ll be in tomorrow morning if it can be ready then. She told me it would be ready. I showed up around 11 today and was told they actually are out of what I needed and they put in an order so it should be ready tomorrow. I told her whoever I spoke to last night told me it would be ready this morning. She then is able to get one of the two things I needed because they somehow found they do have it. So they tell me 10-15 minutes and they can give me half of what I need. I go to Walmart for 30+ minutes, come back and am told it’ll be another 5-10 minutes maybe. Finally they call my name and half of it is ready and they will have the rest tomorrow. I figure 1 out of the 2 is better than none. I leave and 10 minutes later get a text the other half of my prescription is ready…… Never using this...

They have a good and large variety of items. I can get things I can't get in my small town/village. Things like my lactose-free milk/Lactaid milk, Lactaid Cottage Cheese, lactose-free ice cream, and non-dairy "ice cream" (Oatmilk Ice Cream). Bottled water, my clinical strength Degree antiperspirant/deodorant, gluten-free products, some kinds of vegan "cheese", other vegan products, and they have a pharmacy. The pharmacy is open later than my local one, which is helpful. They have a wide variety of things. It's a big store, and I have found it very helpful and useful in order to get what want I want and need. Also, they are open until midnight, I think every day. Very convenient. They also have Kashi Go Cereals. And, a cafe. A place to get quick meals. I think they have a bakery. Lots of things, great variety and ease of finding things I...

Couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience or more appreciative of the pharmacy staff’s kindness and professionalism. We had two very ill children who needed a special antibiotic that was nearly impossible to find and (after spending HOURS trying to get info from another local pharmacy) in minutes the Wegmans’ pharmacy team (Nate) had it figured out, handled, with ease and kindness. They saved us a trip out of town, $150.00, and any further aggravation. When I thanked them, Erin said she was sorry things had been so stressful-not anything their staff had caused what so ever-and she then handed me a bundle of pretty flowers out of pure, genuine kindness. It was so unexpected after other pharmacies had been so reluctant to help. This is a team who knows how to problem solve with class, and a smile. You and your families should go here. You...
