I can't recommend this Inn highly enough. My expectations were exceeded in every way possible. You can't beat the value for price if you're visiting Niagara Falls with a car.

I travelled with my partner, my cousin, and his partner. The four of us booked one room with two double beds for two nights. Upon arrival our room was upgraded to include an extra twin bed for free, and the little bit of extra space was great for our suitcases.

Our room had a very large mini fridge (including freezer portion), a microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, air conditioner, full bathroom, with easy access to nearby vending machines for pop, chips and the ice machine. We ate most of our meals in the room so the fridge and microwave were very much appreciated! Free fresh hot coffee (and teas, hot chocolate) in the office every morning was an added bonus for the sleep-deprived vacationer. When housekeeping stopped in while we were out, they clearly noticed that four adults were staying in the room and left a bunch of extra toiletries, some more towels and toilet paper without us even having to ask.

Within ten minutes driving distance you've got Tim Hortons, Aldi, Tops, and Walmart. Across the street there's a pizza place and a Subway for quick meals. The locks that give Lockport its name are easy to drive to, as well as the Erie Canal. It's about a 35 minute drive to downtown Niagara Falls which was more than OK with us.

My hot tip for tourists is: pay $10-15 to park your car in Parking Lot 2 or 3 inside Niagara Falls State Park (located on Goat Island). Pay $5 per person per day for unlimited trolley rides within the park. For service outside the state park, transfer to the FREE Discover Niagara shuttle at the Aquarium stop. Discover Niagara provides access to old Fort Niagara, multiple hiking trails, the Erie Canal, the Lockport Locks, and many many other exciting places. Public transit here is excellent for tourists, use it!

Now back to the hotel. There are so many little things that Lockport Inn and Suites has that make it feel well lived-in and well loved by the owners. On my way to my room, I saw a row of like eight watering cans lined up on the sidewalk. Undoubtedly for taking care of the massive number of hanging flower baskets and flower bushes that decorate the property. The statues all over the grounds are adorable and add a unique touch of personality. The gazebos (I counted at least three of them) were great for drying off and having a snack and a drink after a dip in the outdoor pool. It's quaint, it's charming, the photos on google do not lie.

I loved my stay here. I booked a room with the intention of using it only to crash in after a busy day of being a tourist but the added perks made my stay exceptional. You literally cannot beat the value for the price ($99 a night at the time of writing, which is during the...

I went out to Niagara Falls with my girl friend and her son. I looked all over Niagara Falls for a Hotel that had 2 rooms in 1 suite and on the American side, there was only one place and the price was outrageous. So I started looking a little distance away and foudn this Lockport Inn and Suites. The price was very very good for the 2 rooms and they were large and very clean. The bathroom was carpet which was very nice and plenty of towels. The rooms were very clean and the bed was excellent. The extra room for my friends son was nice and he enjoyed the jacuzzi. The bathroom tub had jets in it too. My girlfriend loved it and she liked being in the same suite with her kid not having to get a seperate room that would have been very impersonal.

Price was excellent. Service was excellent. Cleanliness was very clean. The pull out bed on the couch in the living room for the kid...the mattress was a little thin..for young kids..this wouldn't have been a problem..for older ones..it was a little thin on the back.

But for the 2 rooms in the 1 suite and gas fire place and tv in each room ...it was very pleasant.

The location is about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls and Lockport is pretty neat to look around too. There are plenty of fast food locations around there and there is a great Pizza place right across the street..Marks Pizza and try one of their sweet sauce pizzas. Down the street there is late night large grocery store and other late night restaurants. I will definately go back there again. My girlfriend loved it and because of my choice and how nice this place was...she loved me for it...

I always thought supporting local business was the way to go. Sure you could go up the road less than a quarter mile to TWO big chains, but I'm all for staying local. I work in business and travel. I mainly work in the area but I reside over an hour away. With the weather coming in winter a few months back, I went in and inquired of the owner how much it would be for a room for the night (pre emptive). I even told him I preferred this place since it was local business. It was my day off mind you so rather than my suit and tie I was in jeans and t-shirt. I thought I had been arrested and needed a lawyer. He first harped on the fact that I don't look very business. He demanded to know what I specifically sold. I told him I do technology accounts. I tried to get him off the topic and explained the big thing was I didn't want to drive an hour home in snow. He continued questioning me asking me about my age and the company I work for. He then proceeded to ask why I wanted to know about his room pricing and then wondering why I couldn't drive an hour home. Excuse me, you are supposed to want local business, it is none of your business what tech company I work for and it is not your place to question my clothing attire on my day off. I ended up staying at one of the two big box chains where I stayed at least 6 times. They welcomed me with open arms. He lost so much money. He also gave me dirty looks for taking some pamphlets regarding touristic sites saying those were for guests and besides "I thought you didn't want to drive an hour...

Wow. What a delightful nostlagia trip this place is. Pulling into the lot feels like falling back in time, and it only intensifies once you make your way to your room, which might be located in any of the several red brick buildings with neo-Mansard roofs and white wrought iron balconies which form a quadrangle. This is a typical 1960s era motor lodge which is absolutely preserved in amber, with all the kitsch and vintage charm you would hope to find in such a place and then some. It feels like a cross between your grandparents' house and the set of a Wes Anderson film. The pool, surrounded by vintage white porch fencing, illuminated with period lanterns, and decorated with hanging flower baskets, is intimate and perfect. A room overlooking the pool is the best place to stay. In any room, everything you'd expect to find is there. Around the immaculately upkept complex are charming gazebos, lamposts, benches, cherubic statues, and vintage vehicles parked here and there to add to the nostalgic visual charm. The inn is ideally located between the downtown Lockport/Erie Canal area and the suburban shopping district on Transit Road, which is lined on both sides for miles with endless shopping plazas and restaurants, and even a drive-in movie theater. I felt completely at home here and hated to check out.

Our second time here and I've never been more appalled. We checked in on Tuesday for a 3 night stay in our favorite suite. Hotel put a hold for 700$ on my partners card- and at 7pm on our second day, without warning or cause we were called in our room- told to immediately leave due to me having a dog. Now I admit he wasn't in his harness but I DIGRESS. I went to the front desk to explain that he is a highly trained medical service dog as well as me being a professional trainer- I wanted to remedy the situation as I was sure it was simply confusion. I provided the clerk with a copy of all the ADA Laws and Regulations regarding service animals (which he didnt care to read) I pointed out that what was being done was not only unlawful but blatant discrimination, due to me having a medical condition - I was dismissed. We asked for a copy of the current credit card charges, as well as a reason in writing as to why we were being asked to leave and the clerk refused. I have a degree in hotel management, and I spent 20 years working in the industry, I'm a frequent traveler with my Medical SD, never in my life have I been so outright disgusted with an establishment. 0/10 would not reccomend.
