We stayed here during St Patrick's Day weekend and it was very disappointing. First off, this location is accross from a homeless shelter and there are so many homeless people walking around during the day time, and during dusk, they're all outside doing suspicious activities. We were there for two nights and both nights cops were in the area. Thankfully, the premise of the Hilton area was safe overall.
The second night we were here, the power went out at 8pm-9:30pm. It was horrible. it was pitch black and we didnt leave our rooms. Thankfully, this only lasted 1.5 hours. Nothing was comped or accomodated, and no apologies were made. We've never stayed anywhere where the power just goes out.
The little convienence shop they have was horrible. There is nothing there. They need to stock more things and better snacks and options for guest. There's so many empty racks. The food was beyond awful. The chicken tenders tasted so bad and artificial. We asked for fries too. You know what they gave us? SLICED POTATOS. That is so misleading, if it was potato wedges, fine. No. These were literally sliced potatoes that were baked, no crispiness to it whatsoever. How are these even called fries?!
The front desk staffs are BEYOND lazy. They did not provide us any information of the hotel. We didn't even know breakfast was free until we came down. We wanted to get tea and each night the hot water was empty and they would not refill it. We asked for firm pillows and their response was "all pillows are the same. We can give you extra but you have to come down stairs". I did not see a single housekeeper during our stay at all. We also kindly asked to upgrade our rooms since it has never been an issue as a Diamond member, and their response was "we dont do upgrades for diamond members, team members, etc".
There's only two Diamond members parking space which are so close to each other that if you had a bigger car, it would not fit if another car was already parked.
The only perks was that it was close to Broadway - walkable (but i'd recommend driving as the area is suspicious for the first half of S broadway to broadway). Will not be staying here the next time...

Read moreSo I have to start by saying the staff in this location were fantastic. Each one was better than the last.
As far as the building...I cannot say the same. When I think Hilton I think quality. This was motel at best. Check-in was fine. I had to park all the way in the back, the room was all the way in the back, but the elevator is in the front. So alllll the way down, up, and allll the way back. The 3rd and 4 floors had twin mattresses sitting against the wall by the elevator. Did someone get sick? were they there if you had to sleep in the hallway? Not sure. The hallway lighting looks like it got hit by the luggage cart about 25 times. No AC in the hall, so the stale marijuana was potent. The room was mediocre at best. AC panel was hanging forward off the wall, took it a long time to cool, the carpet is black from stain. The bathroom was the icing on the cake, though. The toilet seat is on crooked, and the tub looks like it's seen its share of guests. Rust, stained black, and the caulk long-since gone with mold. I am a guy, so I don't really need much in the way of the bathroom, but the lighting was so dim I could barely see my toothpaste on the brush.
However, I think the pool is my favorite part of the place. There is a door with a big sign that says "pool." Inside is, well, a pool filled with concrete that's now a lounge with...you guessed it A POOL TABLE!!! Maybe we need a new sign or a p-touch label to designate that the lifeguard isn't coming back!
Lastly, much like the other reviews, I had absolutely no idea the breakfast was not included. I happened to see a tiny sign in a far corner (of course after you get a plate and fill it) with the prices. Seems a bit shady. Should be made clear.
The place desperately needs a gut...
