The Fort Harrison Religious Retreat — Hotel in Clearwater

I stayed at the Fort Harrison while I was volunteering in the community. Our crew helped a lot of people and by the end of the project we felt accomplished and proud of the work we did. The hotel made the whole experience even better.

They provide food, great accommodation, and even suggestions on where to visit while you're in Clearwater. One thing that stood out was how much they encouraged us to support the local downtown businesses. At one point my friend on the crew said we should just wait to get something when we were back in California, and one of the staff said, "You should totally get it from a local store." We looked at each other and said, "You know, we should totally do that." It ended up being the best decision.

When we were packed up and ready to head out, we asked for help and they brought a luggage cart right to our room. We had already pulled the car up to the front after grabbing some coffee, and they helped us load everything quickly and easily.

I was invited here for the day and this place is amazing. The scallops at the hibiscus restaurant melted in my mouth & the taste stayed with me for the entire day. Anyone who has a negative idea about this place is probably just listening to negative people. I felt the energy as soon as I walked in, similar to how Charlie felt in the Willie Wonka Chocolate factory except here, everyone walks out with a smile on their face. Ahhhhhh. It's so relaxing. The ambiance was energizing & soothing, the people were friendly & the swimming pool felt like a tropical getaway.. what a place! The negative reviews are all from people who've never been inside so how would they even know. Lol. Just go with a member & experience this place...

I attended the Grandparents Pre-valentine's Day Gala at this hotel. There service was excellent.

Being that I'm a Christian, as was the majority of the attendees at this event and this is the Scientology Flagship, I really didn't know what to expect from the hotel staff. But I can honestly say service was nothing short of excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They wouldn't even allow me to tip the valet. Trust me, I tried.
