Thank you Grayson for an incredible dinner and conversation. Before I start the review I have to point out that my girlfriend and I live in Palm Harbor, which is about 25 minutes away from Mana Mana. We were in the mood for something different and by some miracle I found their page and after reading the reviews, we were up for the drive. I love middle eastern food and although there are some good restaurants around, I’ve never been fully impressed to the point that I write a 5 star review. I know it’s going to sound crazy, but even the best reviews aren’t good enough, when I tell you this place is DELICIOUS, it’s an understatement. As soon as we parked in the garage (it’s not the easiest restaurant to find, it’s the true definition of a hidden gem. It’s in between two parking garages so it’s not the easiest to find) we could smell the food they were cooking. I don’t know about you guys, but when I’m hungry and I smell the food my mouth starts to water. I kept telling my girlfriend I hope these reviews aren’t all fake because that would suck. Grayson greeted us and recommended what we should order, I got the large shawarma plate that even for a professional belly like mine was massive. My girlfriend got the kebab pita because she is tiny and barely eats. We sat down while they cooked our food to order, it took about 10 minutes. As soon as the food arrived I just knew the reviews were all right, as soon as I tasted the food, I knew that even the best review wasn’t enough. The shawarma was the best I’ve ever had, even during my travels throughout Eastern Europe and the Middle East. My girlfriend’s kebab was filled with meat and I couldn’t believe it was only $10.99. My extremely large plate was only $14.99. I would have easily paid twice that much and I still would have been happy. Now on to the humus, I am not the biggest fan, especially store bought, their hummus is MINDBLOWING!! It’s hard to describe but it’s the creamiest most flavorful hummus you will ever have, I will guarantee it. My girlfriend was eating it by the spoonful. We got an order to go and I’m sure it won’t last until tomorrow, it will be eaten utonight. Do yourself and favor and come try it for yourself and you’ll see that even this review isn’t...
Read moreLet me start off by saying Mana Mana is our absolute FAVORITE restaurant in the entire Tampa Bay area!!!
Quality: One of the main reasons why my wife and I loved this restaurant so much is that the quality of the food is top-notch! We’ve been coming here now for the past 3 years and the quality of the food has never ever faultered. We’ve tried their Schwarma, falafel, hummus, nearly everything and you can’t go wrong. Everything is absolutely delicious! Furthermore the portion size is HUGE, highly recommend going hungry!!
Cleanliness: You don’t need to worry at all here, this place is spotless!
Location: Good location, though a little hard to find if you haven’t been here before. Though don’t let that deter you from coming here, if you can’t find it just call and the owner will help direct you if need be!
Price: Considering the high quality food, and enormous portion size, the price is 100% on point and worth every penny.
Service: This restaurant is a small business, so definitely deserves even more patronage!!! Another major selling point of this place is the owner himself, he’s very approachable and super kind. He noticed that my daughter (2 years old) was having a field day with the cucumbers and went back into the kitchen and cut up a bunch more so she could enjoy eating. On another occasion, I had just finished eating and that was the point that my daughter decided she also wanted to eat. I politely asked the owner if he could make some chicken for her to eat, and he was so kind to oblige us. Then to top it off, he didn’t even charge us for the extra schnitzel. I wish I had caught this earlier or I would have left him an even larger tip.
Seriously please go here, you won’t regret...

Newer, bigger space with PLENTY of indoor seating and, because he has a second entry door in Station Square Park, plenty of outdoor too with umbrella tables and even Adirondack chairs just outside the door.
When restaurants step it up to a larger operation, often the quality suffers. Not so here. In fact, I think the quality of the food is even better, if that was even possible.
Since they moved I have sampled the Shawarma, Felafel, and Kebob and all three are home runs! They've only been in this new location a couple of weeks and I've already eaten there like 6 times or so and brought several friends with me.
[Expecting to be put on payroll in five... four... three... two...]
I was already a fan and thought, since he moved, and since I have been recently trying to move over to Google from Yelp! reviews (Been a Yelper for some time now) I thought it was a good time to get in a review on Google for Mana Mana, one of my fav places to go in Clearwater for a solid decade. I had reviewed them 10 years ago on Yelp! and decided it was high time for an update.
This dude moves to a new place and only gets better! I was already a fan of the little "hole in a wall" place (implying "charming", "hidden gem" type place) he had by the bus station, but this is a showplace but hasn't lost the charm of the old location.
Great service and dining experience! Congrats on your new digs and keep dishing out the Shawarma like you do and I will keep dishing out the stellar reviews!
I woulda given you 6 stars if they'd let me,...
