BEWARE..Feared for my life. Was I being profiled as a lgbt? 9-24-25 Just left the Wednesday night jazz. After sitting and waiting for it to start. Black male waiter with locs. said I got you some water, and said ..I can't remember her name will be over to help you. Barmaid came over shortly and ask me if I wanted anything, I politely said no I have already eaten.
After enjoying the jazz set for about 45 minutes. The black guy with locs, comes over and says are you gonna buy something? I said no, I am good..He goes on to say "this is not a free show, you have to buy something " wow, extremely rude..not once when he gave me the water or the white female that came to my table, ever said it was a requirement. I was going to give to money to the musicians..
This is terrible, he was rude demanding and not one time and or anywhere does it say you have to purchase anything. On social media it says Wednesday Night Jam session. Free..Mind you there was a couple sitting at the bar and people sitting adjacent to me that just had water as well. He did not tell them.
Nash keys, set the correct expectations. He was a extremely rude, .after he stood over me..I feared for my life..really bro...
I have never been to any jazz jam session, were it was a requirement to purchase food or drinks...This is false advertising. I was enjoying myself.
After he told me that, I said ok.i will know the next time. He then look at me like he was gonna kick me out and just stood there..soo I left..
This is unacceptable. It is sad because the musicians were awesome. As a fellow musician myself of the alto sax. This is terrible. No signage says this on table or anywhere, not even on websit...get it together management. Either charge a entrance fee or set expectations of requirement of purchase . Put it on your social media or do not have your employees strong arming or...
Read moreI want to say good things and most of our experience was good. The person that was at the deont had a major attitude. We didn’t have reservations and she said well you can sit here and it was a table off to the side away from everything (shouldn’t even been an option) or the bar. We understood that we were being penalized for not having reservations but didn’t need attitude. Almost left but the shoe had already started which was also surprising since it said online 7 pm and we were there by 615. Were told with attitude your wrong. So we sat at the bar. Really nice service but soooo expensive for everything. Considering the area where there’s basically nothing to charge what they do is pretty crazy. The points were good but I’d never go back and neither would the others in my party. We’ve been to other dueling pianos and would definitely go back there (Wesley chapel) even being so far. Wish I could have said something nicer since it’s local but your first impression kind of sets the vibe and insitnbmins spending money if it’s worth it but...
Read moreDon't waste your money on any VIP experience here. The upstairs loft where they put you has very limited views to experience the show. Their site advertises this as a table, there is no table to dine at unless you're down with eating from a coffee table. So, basically your party is put upstairs with a nonfunctioning lift (which is not ADA compliant btw) so, you can't see the show or have conversation to entertain yourself while the show is going on Being put up there was like a punishment that we paid for. The manager also moved us twice further back halfway thru the show because he said the other party up there paid more. I asked her, he lied and was abrupt and rude. And can someone tell me why the managers had their baby in the bar during the show? This place should never take money for any reservation or vip experience. It's basically bar food and...
