NEVER GOING BACK, ,AGAIN, ,Well it breaks my heart to have to write this review but we went to Luna's to have lunch me and my wife and my son today and what a bad experience totally shocked we haven't been there in a while but the waiter totally rude forgot to ask my wife she wanted soup or salad put the sauce on the calzone when we didn't want sauce on the calzone then I did not refill glasses of water very rude will not come to the table flies flying around us we had to leave we could not finish eating because of the flies mention it to the waiter he just blew it off like no big deal I went up to pay $66 for lunch for three of us very expensive he actually threw my change at my hand and through my receipt on the counter at me pretty much I asked him what was his problem he was very rude very rude so we left as I got in the car I decided to call back to Luna's and ask for a manager well wouldn't you know he answers he says I'm the manager big boy he starts cussing me out calling me all kinds of names I was totally in shock couldn't believe it we've been going there for 25 years I hung up we will not be going back this place is dirty there's flies and bad service Don't waste your time Go to Olive garden there's a lot of other choices they just lost a customer of 25 years today by the way I read other reviews and I have noticed that other people have stopped going to this place after it's been sold 2 years ago I had noticed that the food did not taste the same and the service was not the same. It was terrible. My salad was iced over. It was like they pulled the leaves directly from frozen standing water and it tasted like crap. The spaghetti AND the lasagna was foul. The sauce was worse than most of what you will find in the supermarket. In fact the military MRE spaghetti meal was better than what they served us that night, and I'm not exaggerating. I'm really not a picky eater but absolutely none of what they brought out to us was any good. The bread was hard and tasted stale. Overall I couldn't believe they were serving the stuff they were serving. I was convinced to go there by someone who had eaten there a couple of years ago and said the food was really good. They were embarrassed for having recommended this place so highly as they found their own entree disgusting. Whats worse is this foul concoction they served took over 30 minutes to come out and I literally had to flag down the negligent waiter to ask for the check. Seeing that we barely touched anything and didn't want boxes (or that we were leaving) he didn't even ask how anything was. He didn't come and check on us once during the meal except when I had to flag him down, he was talking to a female hostess in clear view of us. Overall this was probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had and will not go back. This place...

Luna is an Old Town Clovis icon. My family and I made our afternoon walk around a bustling OTC and decided on some iconic eats. The restaurant was relatively empty. The host, a clean shaven young man, decided on seating us next to the kitchen. The waiter was attentive, if not dry, and the food was every bit as good as I remember from all the times I have visited before. Pizza is the house claim to fame but I decided on a Calzone. It was excellent.

A person who didnt introduce themselves...I assume the manager took our bill and made change for us but then the waiter made change, as well. A less honest man might have pocketed the mistaken change but I've worked in service and nothing feels worse than having a short till at the end of a day. Those oversights can cost the whole staff in trust and tip wages.

The staff clearly needed to communicate better to avoid potential conflicts. That shows a lack of discipline in management, to me. 4/5 because of this and for the "dry" nature of the service in Italian cuisine. I felt less like my family were honored guest and more like interlopers.
