On the morning of checkout I was running late and in a hurry and forgot all my toiletries including a large bottle of expensive cologne. I realized my mistake within three hours and called the hotel. They said the would check into it, called back and said that my items were not in lost and found and the housekeeping staff did not have them. I asked to speak to a manager and they said one will call me back. A manager called the next day, I explained the situation and all I really cared about was the cologne, he said to purchase another bottle, send them the receipt and they will reimburse. I did just that, and sent a nice letter as well confirming the discussion with the manager and thanking them for such outstanding customer service.
It is now 6 months later and no reimbursement. If they would have just said they were not going to reimburse from the initial phone call with the manager I wouldn't have been as upset, I left the stuff and I can own that. However this is the kind of business that you would think some valuables get left behind from time to time and this is the kind of place you that would think has a solid process to address it. This is one of the reasons why I prefer to stay at nicer hotels and not roadside motels even though I am a working joe like most folks. Additionally, when you go from being upset with a business, then thankful, then upset again it is just a roller coaster ride I can do without, not to mention the lost time and money following the manager's instructions. Overall a nice property but the staff could use some...
Read moreThe rooms have older appliances but the stove and area around wasn't clean yet everything worked in the room. I don't know what the etiquette for temporary stays however room service isn't done daily it's done every 3rd day of your stay.(I guess it's the norm now) You can request it daily but i don't know for sure. The one thing i did learn is that you can't stay in the room while they clean. Overall it's a nice place yet overly prices to stay when your home isn't functioning like it should. When i wrote this,, I forgot to mention that it's roo expensive to stay for a long period of time. I stayed over a month and was charges 28000 which was taken out of of Loss is Use payment from my Renters Insurance Policy. For that price you would think that it nice place and semi luxury, it's not and Cockroaches are plenty. I still think my insurance should've done more as to why i wanted to move out. i Think the hotel should reimburse me for most of my stay there. I requested to live bases on bug infestation, it was a big inconvenience.
When.i called and mentioned it to a support call, they apologized for what's that worth and gave 5000 points I'll never use. When i wasn't pleased with her offer i asked to speak to her Manager, she states "that's all that will be ordered and you can call back and ask to speak to that person but it won't get passed me, I'm the highest it goes.
I lowered rating based on the service i received from customer support,it bares no reflection on some of the great people that...
Read moreWow! That was my first word as I opened the door to our suite. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, but whatever I was, the Homewood Suites surpassed it.
This place is awesome. We checked in around 11:30pm and headed up to our room. Walking towards our room, you could already tell that it was going to be large. We were tucked in the back, so it was kind of a private hallway. The room was amazing! Clean, nice and spacious. being that we got there at 11:30 at night, and we had to be up and ready to go by 7, we didnt get to use any of the THREE televisions. We did put the fridge to use (to keep our waterbottles/fruit cold) and the coffee pot to boil water.
There are a TON of plates, and cups and such that you can use plus a dishwasher. I saw the calendar on the fridge for the dinner schedule. Wish I was there to get to try it.
We enjoyed their breakfast in the morning. The hotel was full of volleyball girls, and as a coach, I decided to stay and enjoy my breakfast. Within ten minutes of sitting down in the dining area, most everyone cleared out and it was peaceful. On this particular day there was homefries, sausage patties, eggs, and blueberry pancakes. This is one of THE best breakfasts that i've had in a hotel. Thumbs up for the chocolate muffin. (it's quite delicious)
The staff is SO friendly. If I ever have to come back here for volleyball, this will definitely be my...
