I would like to give this hotel 5 stars because it is as pictured. It is clean, nice, modern and bonus of good free breakfast!! A Certain staff member took the rating down though :( My initial thoughts and experiences were great experience checking in, nice, new and clean environment. I was happy with my family's choice. With that said I would have rated it a 10 but that all went out the window come that evening at 11:00pm. We stayed in the area because my family's business was part of a charitable event for the city of Sanger and this was the best looking and closest hotel to our event. After a business meeting that first night I realize I forgot my room key somewhere which I didn't think would be much of a problem as long as I show my ID at the lobby reception. I never knew that I would be locked outside the hotel with homeless people literally begging none stop to the receptionist for her to check my ID and CC to be allowed to my room that I spent money on for my family and I to stay. She continously refused saying if you don't got a key you can't come in which I understand the policy but when I'm begging and pleading that I have a room with your facility you would think she would take the time and be courtesy to atleast come to the window, view my ID and CC through the glass and then decide whether to let me in or not. She instantly just said no without a second thought. She immediately passed judgment and left me to sit and beg outside the doors with the homeless persons whom took cover under your awnings and comfort on your patio furniture. My wife had to call her and beg her to let me in which the receptionist then did however I thought that was odd she only agreed after a secondary person begged her....my wife was not asked for ID upon us checking in so she was never even registered as a guest nor did this specific receptionist at the lobby ask my wife for ID when my wife was made to beg to let me in. How would she know anything of my wife....my wife could've been anyone but for whatever reason she finally gave in to my wife's plead and gave in without any documentation when after I kept trying to show her my identification which she refused to look at. A message was left for GM Kelly Clark whom I never heard from. This young lady needs to be better trained however compassion can't be taught. Dont get me wrong, my check in process was great, one of the managers (sherry) was very nice, my checkout process was great (Eva), the gentleman who made my waffles was amazing(I believe Max was his name) and overall the facility was amazing. This behavior toward me was just so...
Read moreThis is a brand new hotel that recently opened. By far this is the ideal hotel room with each featuring an ultra modern kitchen with dishwasher, dishes, utensils, sink, microwave, and full size refrigerator. A separate sitting area with pull out sofa sleeps an addition two guests. Plenty of shelves and drawers for storage.
Home2 Suites is a brand by Hilton aimed at people, especially workers, who need an extended stay for a really good price. Only catch is housekeeping will only service your room on the 5th day of your stay. In my case I was just there for 2 nights so I didn’t mind not having my room made up. The price when I booked through hotels dot com was only $101 per night. I wish Hilton would get with the times and offer full speed WiFi for free like other chains. Only the standard snail speed WiFi is free and good for checking email - not streaming. TVs allow for streaming of YouTube and Netflix and you can cast from your phone as well (YouTube). Just be sure to sign out of your Netflix before checking out.
The hotel features morning breakfast and coffee throughout day in the lobby. An out door pool with a few chairs makes great for the hot summer. Near the lobby is the exercise room and pantry to purchase snacks and beverages. I believe there is also a business center section although I didn’t need it. Out front of the hotel there are several padded lounge chairs where guests relax for fresh air. It really is like a second home if you’re there on an extended stay.
I travel frequently staying in hotels. I’m a Gold member of Hotels dot com since 2015 and a Platinum member of Best Western. My only issue I had since I booked with Hotels dot com is that my one-bedroom suite I paid a little extra for wasn’t available as the current guests extended their stay. This meant I was placed in the standard 2 Queen room and I had to call customer service on my own to get an adjustment refunded. I was really hoping to do a YouTube video for the suite but if I ever return and it’s actually available (there’s only 7) I will record and upload.
Deposit hold was only $20 however I also booked a separate room for a friend so they increased the deposit for the second room to $40 - total $60. I’ve upload several pics of the...

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star)
I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at a Hilton-branded hotel, and I must say, it was a far cry from what one would expect from a reputable chain like Hilton. Sleep is arguably the most crucial aspect of a hotel stay, and if you're looking for a peaceful night's rest, this might not be the place for you.
The most glaring issue during our stay was the bed. Unfortunately, it wasn't the cozy haven one would anticipate. Instead, the beds sagged significantly in the middle, making for an uncomfortable and restless night. It's disheartening when a simple, comfortable bed, a fundamental feature of any hotel, isn't up to par.
To add to our discomfort, the air conditioner in our room emitted a noise that resembled a prop plane idling on a tarmac. The incessant racket made it almost impossible to relax or concentrate on anything. It's astonishing that such a disturbance was allowed to persist in a Hilton establishment.
Noise isolation is another essential component of a peaceful hotel stay, and this Hilton property fell short in this regard as well. We were subjected to a constant barrage of sounds from neighboring rooms and hallways. Footsteps from above were a constant nuisance, echoing loudly from the time we arrived until well past midnight. Perhaps the most distressing was the relentless crying of a toddler that continued for hours on end. It's understandable that children can be unpredictable, but a well-insulated hotel should be able to minimize disruptions to other guests.
In conclusion, this Hilton hotel left much to be desired. While one might expect a certain level of comfort and quality associated with the Hilton brand, this particular establishment failed to meet even the most basic expectations. The sagging beds, deafening air conditioner, and lack of noise isolation made for a miserable night's stay. If you value a good night's sleep and a peaceful environment during your hotel stay, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for...
