Worst customer service I’ve had at any of the Honeygrow locations. I waited 20 mins for my food after the UberEats app told me the order was ready for pickup 5 mins before I even walked in. I waited patiently on the bench for it to be dropped on the shelf but the order wasn’t dropped so I went to the counter. At least 5 workers walked by me and never acknowledged me while I waited to ask if my order was ready. Finally I did ask one of the workers after 5-10 minutes at the counter if my order was ready and showed him my phone and name and all he said was, “I don’t know man, that’s not me”, and he walked away. Meanwhile the other workers were just chatting on the food line; they too were unconcerned about my presence at the counter. Finally I asked the worker fixing the kiosk screen if my order was ready. She said she didn’t know either because their “POS system was down” and she was on her phone with I’m assuming her manager to get it fixed… I then pointed to my ticket that was on the counter the whole time with my name on it and said “that’s my ticket order there and it’s already paid for”. She then grabbed the unmarked bag next to it and put the ticket in and apologized. That bag, too, was there the ENTIRE time. I’m glad she apologized, but the point is someone should have put that together since my order was ready from literally the second I walked in the door and no one bothered to help the main desk employee who was tasked with fixing the POS system. Disappointed by this appalling service, I did not feel appreciated at all from a customer standpoint since I felt tremendously ignored. I will say though, the salads I got were good, but the order was not accurately made. One of my salads didn’t have the egg white noodles I paid for and the other didn’t have the garnishments I ordered; the cilantro and crispy onions. Staff needs serious training on customer service and how to properly read a food order ticket.. I shouldn’t have to stand at a counter for a prolonged period and me have to be the one to ask if it’s being worked on when all that was needed was for someone to put that bag on the shelf so I could pick it...
Read moreThis was my first experience trying a honey grow location. I decided to try this place after seeing the reviews saying customer service was friendly and can help you figure out what to order. The Chic Fil A nearby was closed hence me deciding to try a Cobb Salad here. It’s a Cobb Salad, how can you really mess that up was my thinking. I was utterly wrong. The chicken tasted like soap, it was so weird, the whole salad tasted old and just off. I am unable to articulate it much better. As hungry as I was, I could not force myself to eat this salad. Returning things or speaking up about a dish can be awkward but I was still shocked at the service I received. There was a hispanic lady upfront who spoke limited English. She told me she was the manager, a younger guy joined her who I assume she called to talk to me in English. They both then proceeded to speak to each other in another language and laugh right in front of my face.
I have worked food service when I was younger and you can find a customer challenging. Maybe it was annoying to them that I said the food tasted bad and I wanted a refund, but to speak to each other about me and then laugh while I was there was appalling. Their resolution was to remake the salad which i didn’t want cause they were going to use the same ingredients I presume . So what would be different ? They insisted they could not process a refund until I asked for their names and then they suddenly could process the refund. I never leave google reviews really, but this was such a...
Read moreI work nearby and come here quite often so this isn't based on a 1 time visit - so figured I'd write a review.
Their noodle bowls are great. The first time I ordered there I thought the food packages were small but then I put it in a big bowl - and it was overflowing the bowl. I was deceived! The chicken and steak dishes are tasty and really enough for 2 meals.
I usually do the made to order salads and they're fresh and filled to the top. I will say - it would be nice if it was mixed together prior to being put in the bowl. It looks nice- but tastes better when mixed (maybe that's something I have to request?).
The dessert bowls are great. Almost too good. I took my leftovers home one day and let my daughter try the cheesecake bowl and she ended eating the rest of it. Very tasty but probably not the healthiest.
I have to say they did forget my dressing the other day. But I received a call from Layla as I was sitting and my desk unpacking my food. She apologized for the mistake and said next time I am in there - she'd make it right. I don't think I've ever had a manager do that. Kudos on that hire Honeygrow.
I will say the interior is a bit "cold" and boring. It's clean in there...I think they've only been open for 6 months? I typically don't eat in the restaurant but for some reason it just doesn't feel inviting.
Great food options if you are near the mall and hungry or if you work...
