If I could give it no stars I would have. New owners have taken over the restaurant, well the owner is not very good. Three times I've been there The first time was a Friday night where they got so overwhelmed He's answering the phone oh "you ordering pizza pizza is 45 minutes I will wait can't do it.". People waiting for 45 minutes for the food are over. Second time same thing. Last night Tuesday March 16th was the third and last time we go in there with them running it. I walk in there's one lady waiting for her take out he's talking to her disappears. For over 5 minutes he's walking arounddoing things and stapling take out bags and not even paying attention to how many people have come inside five more people come. Another minute or two go by before he comes to the counter he asked who's next I step forward cuz the lady he already spoke to I go I am I'm going to order he "You're ordering for here now who's here for takeout can I get who's next for takeout". I was so mad I waved my wife at the table instead of let's get out of here this guy's rude ignorant and we're never coming back so I was over six seven minutes before anyone was spoken to. The guy is rude ignorant does not know what he's doing and does not treat his customers very well The other owners were marvelous and knew what they were doing and super nice not this one Will not go back
Reply: first of all I was the second one in there after you spoke to the lady in front of me so in the restaurant I was the second one there, four or five more people came in after me and you're going to wait on them before I'm taking my order. I've never had that happen before I was the next person in line inside your restaurant That's how it should be that's always how it's been and any restaurant I've been to. and I guess it's your personality but you are way too blunt and rude You're not very nice to people. to ignore people that are waiting in front of your counter at your restaurant that's rude and then to ask the next person in line and skip over them even ruder. I'm sorry never ever had that happened to me in a restaurant before . yes it's always first come first serve who waits in front of your counter. you know how they say to put you nicest person out front to deal with the public yeah that's not you should find somebody else, thanks for ruining one of our favorite restaurants. And not only to show how rude you never said anything to me if you noticed I was upset, never offered to make it right. Now in your reply still speaking rude with no means to amends. Actions speak louder than words....not looking for a free hand out but this has been the worst interaction with a business owner Ive ever had. All I can say is be glad you're in a very tourist town because once the locals get word on how you are you won't have any locals coming in cuz I'm certainly...
Read moreVia Roma is an essential comfort food restaurant in the NoCo area. Full disclosure, I do work the front counter in the summer, but that’s because I already enjoyed Via Roma and I love the owners, so it makes me happy to help them during the busy season! The food is awesome, and my whole family have favorites here: Pizzas (shawarma delight, Roma special, and buffalo chicken), Greek wrap, lamb gyro, the homemade falafel, meatball subs, etc. It’s all so yummy, but the pizzas are a work of art!! Diners tell me every day how much they enjoy our food - portions are big and filling - nobody is leaving hungry! I gave service 4 stars for the simple reason that we are rarely fully staffed. It is very important to the owners that people feel comfortable and taken care of, and we do our best to accomplish that! Thankfully there are times we are so busy and trying to take care of so many orders that mistakes happen, but we are open to making it right when you let us know. Ordering ahead is also super helpful, and that curbs disappointment when we are busy and pizzas are taking 45-60 minutes! Lastly, atmosphere- we do our best to keep the dining room cool and comfortable, there are outdoor tables, and lots of self-service opportunities (plates, plastic ware, cups, to go boxes) so you don’t have to wait for someone to be available. Oh, we also don’t do pre-made pizza slices because the owners want to preserve the quality of your pizza, rather than giving you subpar slices that have been sitting around. So all in all, Via Roma strives to make yummy comfort food and take care of you and...
Read moreHere is a tip for you guys. If someone leaves you a bad review, you should apologize, and offer a resolution. Not accuse the customer of lying when you know your the one who is lying. Accusing customers who leave bad reviews of lying and doing nothing to remedy the situation only makes you guys look worse, and proves the point about bad customer service.
My friend was trying to order with you guys earlier. We ordered somewhere else but she cant have gluten so she was going to grab a pizza with you guys.
She understood you didn't want to do 1/2 and 1/2 . This isn't a big deal, she got a half buffalo chicken half cheese pizza elsewhere a few weeks ago and they didn't give her issues about two different bases.
When she called back, she had asked for just a cheese pizza, and she asked to BUY a side of the garlic sauce and the guy on the phone was clearly, like , uhmm..... no .....sorry. When she left a bad review, you didn't apologize, didn't offer to do anything to make it right and instead lied and said it didn't happen even though several people heard you. As a result, now we are all on here.
I hope the 2$ side of garlic sauce she was offering to pay for was worth loosing multiple customers.
The thing is, if you would have just helped her, she would have ordered from you guys at least once a week on our way home from our work meeting, and since its annoying to go to two places because she needs gluten free, we all would have ordered from you guys as well.
There is another place that offers gluten free up the road and they...
