If I can give this place a zero, I would. I requested extra pillows, near the elevator, a bathtub, and high floor about 2 weeks ago. I only got the high floor. I was told that all the rooms had a bathtub. Well, not mine. So I brought my spa soap and bath salt for nothing. The room looked so much bigger in the picture. I had a king size bed with a sofa room and it clearly showed that it had a balcany. When I get there, the room looked like the size of my bedroom and it had no balcany. But I dropped my bags and quickly ran to Walmart. I wanted to buy some icecream, but I couldnt remember if the fridge had a freezer, so I called the hotel and asked the staff it they had freezers. Apparently, they were having a hard time hearing me. I guess the reception at Walmart was bad. I kept repeating over and over again if they had freezers and again the staff couldnt hear me clearly and they just hung up. I thought that was incredibly rude and unprofessional. So when I was done shopping, I called back and told them how unprofessional that they handle my phone call, not knowing that Im a guest there. I even told them the correct way to talk to someone. The staff should have said, "Ma'am, we are having difficulty hearing you, please call back when you are in a better area where the connection is clear so we can further assist you". They told me that Im right and apologized and told me yes that they had freezers. So based on what they said, I went and bought icecream. I went up to the room, trying to look for the freezer and couldnt find it. So I went to the front office and that's when the staff said that its not a full fridge, just a mini fridge. They did offer to put my icecream in their back freezer. So i have to go back and fourth to the front office and ask for my stuff out of their freezer everytime. No, I will not do that. I just returned the icecream back to walmart. Also, there is no microwave in the room either. There's only one microwave near the front office for all the guest. I stayed in many cheap hotels and motels and they ALL had a microwave and full fridge with free breakfast for half of the price. Thats another whammy against theis hotel. On top of not having a microwave, and no full fridge, the breakfast is not free. And the restaurant is overpriced. Not worth it. I paid almost $11.00 for a small glass of water down Margarita. Usually, there will be toothpaste in the room. Every hotel that I have been to had a small tube of toothpaaste in the bathroom. There were none. So Im paying all this money for what? A bed? My advice to anyone is to stick with the cheap hotels like Laquinta and Comfort Inn or even Budget Inn. At least you will be getting a microwave in the room and you dont have to go back and forth downstains to warm up your food, toothpaste for your toothbrush, a fridge with a freezer, so you can have cold things, and free breakfast. Will never stay here ever again.
P.S. Also, the hot water does not get hot. It turns cold very quickly. The WiFi sucks. I had to use my mobile web. And I had ask for more towels, and three hours passed and I received no towels. A passing housekeeper knocked on the door and asked if I needed anything and she gave me towels. This...

We stayed one night and woke up with bites from bed bugs on my kids and me. The manager apologized and said he was calling Orkin. Cool ...stuff happens. I'm a pretty understanding person. We had to bring ALL of our clothes to a laundry service (over $100 worth of laundry). Then had to purchase rubbing alcohol, laundry bags, etc to prevent bringing them home. They comped the one night..but I was a little irritated because I spent more on rectifying the issue and it was a huge inconvenience. I had to go back to fort Lauderdale the next weekend so the manager said he would "take care of me" if I went back. I figured I'd give it a chance. They discounted my rate to $80 per night. I asked the manager what would happen if they got into my house, because it's expensive to treat and I didnt think I should have to pay out of pocket for THEIR inconvenience. The manager said he would have to "confirm" with orkin that the infestation was in fact bed bugs, then we would have to go from there. When I got home, I put all of my bags into my bathroom and continued spraying and treating them. Of course, I found bed bugs outside of the bags the next morning. I emailed the manager immediately and included pictures. The bed bug treatment started at $500. I had to have my pest control company come out twice for treatments. The manager email me back and said that orkin confirmed they had an infestation of bed bugs. When I arrive back at the property the next weekend, he said that they wouldn't be doing anything further to reimburse me for the money I had to spend. Then, I went to give my 5 year old a bath and couldn't get the tub to drain....i thought maybe it was clogged. I looked in the drain and it was straight out of a horror movie . So much hair and trash clogged in the drain. I was disgusted that I actually put my kid in that bathtub. I asked the front desk for them to send housekeeping up to clean it while we were out of the room.... When I went back to the room that evening it was still clogged with hair and trash hanging out of the drain. I ended up cleaning most of it myself.
I ended up calling corporate Marriott, as I am a rewards member and I figured that they would be able to help me. Corporate said that they would open an investigate and call me back within 7 business days. This was the end of June and I have heard nothing back.
Moral of the story, I ended up spending over $700 to correct their bed bug infestation. And seem to not care.
We were there for AAU basketball for my son. It's a shame because we love Marriott but this is a huge turn off. Choice hotels seems to have better customer service and no bugs so we will be staying with...
Read more--THE GOOD: Our room was ready for us when we arrived, and the air conditioner was running so that the room was a comfortable temperature. The staff at the front desk were friendly and pleasant.
I must especially commend Anna, who was on duty early on Sunday morning, for being extremely helpful to us when we encountered a problem that had nothing to do with the hotel: We had checked out and were ready to drive to the airport, but we discovered that our rental car had a big piece of metal or plastic as large as a dinner plate hanging down in front from the underside, scraping on the ground without being moveable, so the car was not safe to be driven. We telephoned the car rental agency to report the issue and request alternate transportation so we could catch our flight home. The car rental agency told us they would get right back to us and asked us to remain with the car — but about 20 minutes later, we had not heard anything from them and the clock was ticking. That was when we asked Anna if we could leave the car key and a copy of our car rental paperwork with her to hand over whenever the car rental agency's representative came to retrieve the car. She agreed to do this for us, which enabled us to inform the car rental agency of our change in plans and we then arranged for an Uber driver to get us to the airport so we could go through the security line in time to be ready for our flight home. Shortly before we boarded the plane, my wife phoned the hotel to ask whether the car had been picked up yet, and Anna told her that no-one from the car rental agency had arrived yet, even though it was then close to 2 hours since we had contacted the car rental agency. When we phoned the hotel again upon our arrival at the airport in California, the new person on duty at the front desk told us that the car had finally been retrieved. Anna really saved the day for us. (Thanks again, Anna!)
--THE BAD: In the nightstands on either side of the bed, the electrical outlets and USB ports were not working (no power), and the built-in lamp worked on only one of the nightstands. Other outlets and lamps in the room worked properly, however. The carpet obviously was dirty and needed to be cleaned, because the soles of our feet got dirty even though we wore shoes during our entire trip and never went barefoot except while in the hotel room. (I informed Anna of this when we were checking out, and she wrote it down so that the housekeeping staff could remedy...
