Very unprofessional to say the least. My sister is a RN and works at the Heart hospital that is there in view. That is the whole reason she picked these apartments to call home. They were awesome at first when she moved into the nice one bedroom apartments in the front. Her lease expired after a year and she decided to transfer to a two bedroom two bathroom. Since then her experience has been a not so good one. Which I believe is due to management changes, the same helpful girls that were once in the office were replaced with rude ones that are unwilling to do their job. The reason I say this is my sister got locked out of her apartment so she called the 24 hour emergency number. A young lady did come out to unlock the door and was quick to charge $65 that night for a lockout fee. So the problems began with us filling and locking her patio storage with decorations and stuff we needed out of the way at the moment, we locked the storage unit door, one for theft reasons and two because one would think that the same key to the front door will also open the storage unit door.. wrong! The key doesn’t work and my sister cannot get into her storage unit on her patio balcony. She has called the office since the third day she moved in on multiple occasions and was told they lost the key and would send Someone to do a lock change but here we are going on a month and they have yet to send someone to open the her storage unit door. Why because they aren’t collecting a fee? My sister moved in on September 11, today is October 4. Another big issue is that they have no link on the website to pay your bill. After calling for three consecutive days and even taking initiative to walk in to the office to ask for a link, my sister was never given or sent one to her email like the girl in the office said she would do. This in hand made my sister go out of her way to get a money order after working a difficult thirteen hour shift and losing her patient. My sister deals with enough at work trying to help save lives, she should not have to deal with these types of manageable situations that could be avoided if office personnel would do their job correctly and in a timely matter. I will say she has no plans to renew her lease and encourages her peers and coworkers to highly reconsider moving into these apartments after having dealt these and other issues that I did not go into detail about for example her guest bathroom ceiling rotting, the broken parking garages with open doors housing the homeless drug users, and the countless punched out holes in the corridors and of the walkways leading to my sister’s front door of where she calls home.
Update: I got in contact with the new property manager Jennifer. After stating my issues she was able to resolve some of the issue example making payments online. And she had Chris the maintenance supervisor come out the next morning to take care of the sink, ceiling and patio door lock. Thank you Chris! The only thing he was unable to fix were the punched holes in the walkway leading to my front door. He informed me that is the contractors job because it has to do with the construction of the building so it’s out of his hands. I have hope that the new property manager will take care of this issue for the fact that she is taking steps to get the place cleaned up for example all the extra stuff people hoard outside their living space has to go and enforcing clean up of pet waste if not get a fine. Way to go! I added 3 stars and will continue to edit as...
Read moreI've been a resident here for almost two years now. I've had problems with the AC since I've moved in here. The previous management never really fixed anything but would at least fix my AC with in two days. This new management is worse. Very unprofessional, rude, and unreliable. This is the second time our AC breaks under this new management. We reported that our AC was not working over three weeks ago. Our apartment would reach temperatures of 80 degrees and up and what one of the workers (Jennifer) told me the first time was "everything looks alright from our end". Clearly it was not alright from their end if our apartment was not cooling down and was still at 80 degrees. It took them three days just to get us a portable AC in our window. They told us that our whole AC unit and leak would be fixed with in the first week. We were kind enough to wait a week because they needed to order parts. It is now more than three weeks and they have fixed nothing and they keep telling us that they will send someone every week for days but haven't sent anyone. It does not take a month to receive parts. I've tried calling, going in person, emailing, and sending a letter through the mail. They sent some maintenance guys today and they did nothing all they said was there's a leak (which we already know from the previous time the same maintenance guys came) and that they'll get everything fixed by tomorrow. We pay too much rent on time every month for a one bedroom apartment to be putting up with this. We have to sleep in our living room just to sleep comfortably next to the portable AC. This place is ghetto and I wouldn't recommend living here to anyone. And for the recent comment below from the owner. I’ve had to call and call and go in person for weeks because I was told some one would come and no one would come and the office wouldn’t contact me back either. All the things that management would tell us where definitely in their control. We where given every excuse in the book for weeks. We were patient with y’all and y’all took advantage of it. It wasn’t until after I sent an actual letter through the mail that you started caring about the severity of the problem. It saddens me that we had to go through such lengths just for y’all to do...
Read moreWhile I typically refrain from providing detailed reviews, I find it necessary to share my experiences to assist others. As a university student residing here, I strongly advise reconsideration for prospective students. The constant noise makes it nearly impossible to focus on homework, leading to significant challenges. The living conditions have even contributed to the development of a sleeping disorder, necessitating a visit to the doctor. Unfortunately, the property is not well-maintained. Trash and dog feces are pervasive, even on sidewalks, and the designated "dog park" is a small area filled with feces and fleas. Mass text messages from the office frequently complain about various issues, highlighting a lack of rigorous qualifications for residents. While the apartment itself is aesthetically pleasing, my move-in experience involved two days of extensive cleaning due to dirt, dust, mold, and poorly maintained cabinets. My severe allergies to dust made the cleaning process challenging, requiring external assistance. Despite improvements, the overall property appearance remains subpar, dirty stairs and grounds, and consistent litter. The major issue, however, is the relentless noise pollution. From car alarms and speeding vehicles to disruptive neighbors and frequent police involvement, the constant disturbances have led to sleep problems and overall health deterioration. Even attempts to create a peaceful study environment are thwarted by car alarms and smoke detectors that go off for hours and hours and hours without any resolution. Despite months of residence, I hesitated to leave a review but opted for honesty. While the staff encourages positive feedback, my experience necessitated transparency. Mold issues persist despite constant cleaning, leading to health concerns and major financial losses that they will not reimburse. I caution anyone considering this residence, emphasizing the significant impact it has had on my life...
