Certain workers made my experience terrible. My boyfriend and I came here one night, got our usual order, and they messed up on his meal. They had to remake his food 3 times because they could not get the order right. After everything was said and done, all of the food still came out cold. As soon as we got home, we were ready to eat, BUT after tasting cold food, I called because I wanted a refund on the order and time wasted in the drive thru. A woman answered the phone, did not give her name, and proceeded to tell me I would have to drive back and return the food for a refund. Why should I have to use my gas just to come back and get a refund ? Anyways, after being on the phone for about 5 minutes, i compromised on getting a replacement meal for the next time I came. She said she wrote my name down and what we ordered (they did not give us a receipt!!). With that being said, I returned a week later with high hopes that the order would be made right the first time and HOT instead of cold. I went to the drive thru and let them know I was here to pick up my replacement order to which they responded by saying they don’t know what I’m talking about. I tried to explain and the manager on duty came out to my car and was and has not been any help. I didn’t get a replacement. Instead, he said he would find out who I spoke to at first (she did not give me a name) and wrote my number down, yet I have not heard from him again. At this point I would love a REFUND for my time and what I thought would be a great meal. If you want to experience something like this, go right ahead and come to this whataburger!!! Convenient location from the hotel we were staying at. I wish this was more positive and could have had a better experience, being that this is the most favorited and ranked #1 hamburger fast food chain. It was after 12:00am when we stopped in, it was a meal we are always excited to have especially a long day of fishing. Right off the too the to-go lines were super long so we opted to go inside. When we got inside there were 3 people standing around waiting on there food and complaining they had been waiting 30 minutes and still didn’t have their food. First impressions for me was they were very under staffed with no one at the registers to take orders to help with the over flow of a fast paced chain, we waited 5 minutes before 1 young girl came to take the rest of the backed up orders. To make things worse, seconds from myself walking out, a drive through customer came in asked for a manger complained that their order was wrong. From that moment it seemed to have put them in high gear. I received my order in less then 5 minute hot, fresh and delicious. Went to order a simple milkshake the young girl that went to make the shake was gone for literally six or seven minutes was standing in the back talking to another girl kept going in and out of what looks like the office right behind the cash registers and then comes back and says the shake machine is broken and they can't make shakes the rest of the night and I'll be day going with another employee didn't come behind her go to the back come out and literally 2 minutes with three chocolate shakes in her hand When I inquired about that she said oh they must got it fixed she went back again was literally gone again for five or six minutes never came back with the milkshakes finally one of the managers came up there he gave me my money back for the shake I told him I also paid for a cookie I need my cookie since I did not get it at this point he tries to tell me that I did not pay for a cookie and if I did to give him the receipt and I said I already gave you the receipt for the milkshake what did you do with it he starts telling me I did not give him a receipt and that I need to leave the store if there's a Whataburger that needs to be shut down...
