Culver City Hostel — Hotel in Culver City

BED BUGS! Stayed here for a few days on a business trip. Seemed not too bad at the start, but quickly turned into a nightmare.

I noticed my last day that I had some bites that looked like mosquito bites... but then the number kept going up! I hunted around the room and quickly found bed bugs. I definitely got them here and not somewhere else.

It was almost midnight after 3 12 hours days, and the owner only offered me a 50% refund... I asked to be moved into another room because it was after midnight and I was exhausted, AND a full refund considering I would have to spend hours cleaning my clothes, miss time from work sanitizing everything, and possibly have to replace $1000+ of belongings including a brand new $300 backpack and a brand new $300 suitcase.

I checked out days ago and am still covered literally head to toe (including my face) in bed bug bites. The kitchen was pretty gross too -- cabinets were filled with rat poop.

They even had people checking in as fast as possible into the room they moved me into after I checked out without clearing it for bed bugs first...

The manager was nice and the ownership is very new apparently, but I'll be disputing the charge and not staying here again. It's a shame because the living room was nice and the location was good and it had some...

A difficult stay, so some feedback to support the rating.

This place could be so much better with a little bit of investment.

Post a photo of the front door and put a sign up. Maybe paint of clean it, as you are really uncertain about where you have just arrived and whether you are going into a private residence or a hostel.

The room we staying in was very large and the beds were ok, clean linen.

Think about the furniture and the TV, it looked liked you'd picked stuff up from the resell shop next door.

The were some cockroaches in the bathroom, the toilet seat wasn't attached and the whole suite felt industrial rather than welcoming.

Maybe get a person to view the accommodation and give you some advice would help you to both increase your nightly rate and avoid this sort...

Don’t believe the positive reviews of this hostel! I stayed here only one night but it was long enough to realize how horrible it is. There’s no staff, it’s creepy and absolutely doesn’t look like the pictures, the showers are shared and there are only curtains to close, there was hair on my bed and there weren't even sheets on the duvet, it’s freezing and when i ask for heating by message they don’t answer. They said breakfast was included but it’s not true. I absolutely don’t recommend this was the most creepy place i’ve...
