As a Marriot Bonvoy Gold Elite member, I have stayed at quite a few properties within the Marriott family including Courtyards. I normally don't write these reviews however this hotel stood out in the lack of service. Upon checking in I specifically asked the gentleman to give me a room that has a glass shower and not a tub due to my knee injury and I had a brace on to stabilize it. He said "no worries, I got you". He gives me a room furthest in the corner which meant I had to walk the furthest. I took it as okay maybe the glass shower rooms are in the corners. I walk in and to my disappointment it wasn't what I asked for. Secondly I notice a used hand wash cloth hanging on the top of the shower curtains. ( see picture). It was pretty late and I was tired so I accepted it, showered and went to bed. The next morning the cleaning lady was banging on my door so I asked her to come back in about an hour as I would be heading out. I came back in the evening and my room was not cleaned. I didn't bother telling the front desk because I assumed the cleaning crew might have gone home by 8PM. Later that night, I also was in need of water to take my nightly medication. So I went down to the front desk so ask for my complimentary waters. There was no one at the front desk and I waited 5 minutes then picked up the phone and dialed "0", I heard the phones ringing and someone answers from the other side of the wall. I kindly ask if I may have some water bottles as I need to take my medicine. She responds "we don't have anymore waters, we've run out" then hangs up. I look at the fridge in the "Marketplace" and it is stacked with waters (See Picture). Any other hotel that I have been to would walk over and grab 2 water bottles and say here you go! With a smile on their face. Even though it might not the exact same water that they hand out to their guests upon check in, it solves the problem and makes your guests happy. I won't stay here again, I will look into a Hilton Property where your status actually means something.

I visited the Cypress Courtyard by Marriott for business purposes and, unfortunately, the experiences I had were less than satisfactory. I'm penning down this letter to voice my grievances regarding the quality of service I received. During my recent stay, which lasted three nights, I encountered numerous issues. Upon check-in after a grueling 14-hour journey, I was dismayed to find that my room hadn't been cleaned after the previous occupant. Empty alcohol bottles were strewn about, and the bed was in a sorry state. The inconvenience didn't stop there. When I attempted to contact the Front Desk, I was met with silence, no one was available to take my call. I then decided to approach the reception directly, only to be informed that the receptionist was about to end her shift and that someone else would attend to my concern. It took an additional 15 minutes before I could finally speak with a staff member. Suffice it to say, this isn't the kind of hospitality I expected. This incident marked my second stay at this hotel, and each time, I encountered different problems. During my first stay, there was an issue with the bathroom flush which remained unattended until the following night, as there was no response when I called the front desk. In my latest stay, not only was the room unclean, but there was also an absence of water bottles and the bathroom door was inconveniently positioned. Furthermore, there was only one functioning elevator, which was notably slow. I believe the services and facilities of a hotel as renowned as the Cypress Courtyard by Marriott should be impeccable. However, my experiences suggest otherwise. I hope my feedback helps in identifying and rectifying these issues for a better guest experience in the future.

I recently celebrated my high school reunion here and everyone had a blast. The staff was friendly and helpful which made our experience even more memorable. The one thing that really stood out to me was the outstanding customer service. It all began with my first visit and meeting with the event coordinator, Pamela. Her smile was just as big as her heart. It was obvious that she had a passion for serving which is very rare nowadays. While going over the contract and options for our event, she was very thorough and patient. Ms. Pam is an asset to this hotel. Many people lack communication skills and down home comfort. Pam's professionalism gave my classmates and I a sense of peace knowing that we had made the right decision. The hospitality doesn't stop there...the ladies at the front desk were kind and helpful. The staff at the lobby food counter were extremely kind and went over and beyond the call of duty. The kitchen staff and bartender on duty the night of the event were "on point". The food, staff, and cleanliness of the hotel were outstanding 👌 First impressions go a long way and your staff and service will not be forgotten.

Let's be honest if you were treated right the first time it's only natural to want to come again. Me and my family came a second time and let's say Sarina and Mwinji did not disappoint and now there's a new girl who jumped in to follow suit I believe her name also starts with a s. Sao. Forgive me. Last time I left the review I said Theresa should get the acknowledgement I was totally off that young lady who should've gotten her name right the first time by me was Sarina. So again my fault Sarina. Please go and check these ladies out. The first time I was amazed, this 2nd time around was with family for family time and again Sao(I didn't remember sorry) checked is in got it breakfast vouchers and got us into a wonderful room, later we went down and Sarina was there to greet us and it's like family now. Hahaha. We have her hugs and she have us freshly made cookies, I mean she knows us and boy did she make an impression on my grandsons. They see her and run to give her hugs and what new snack she has in the back. Need not a novel I know but the way Sarina & Mwinji took care of us with Sao. I am a grateful Man and my wife love these girls. I hope they get the recognition they deserve. We need more people like them. ||Aside from the generosity of care love and their sweet uplifting and inviting spirits my only downside this trip and last was the same. ||||THAT DARN FIRE ALARM. I mean what's up with that lol second stay around and last day to check out and it goes off at 2 in the morning. But we had such a big day planned the next that it kind of ruined our sleep schedule but the staff did mention someone using the laundry room somehow something caught flame s it smoking or something. ||||But thank you thank you once again for making my families stay wonderful as usual î feel like a regular the way we were treated. See you again...

We have stayed at this Courtyard location several times over the last 5 years. Unfortunately the hotel has gone downhill and the rooms need a facelift. We booked a king suite. The pillows in the extra room were stained, the rooms were obviously not wiped down because I wiped them myself and there were stains and dirt on desk, light switches, phone, etc. The bathroom sink smelled and we were surprised there was no fan in the bathroom (we had not noticed this before), everything (TVs, lamps, lights) were unplugged and we had to plug everything in...meaning getting behind the dressers and couch. Since our room wasn't cleaned for the three days we were there (which was fine with us) a bigger trash can would have been appreciated along with more toilet paper (just one for three days?!) and towels (two for two adults for three days). One huge disappointment was making the reservation for ourselves and our parents who were staying in another room on the same dates. I requested the second floor and near their room. I put the request online while booking and I called and spoke to a gentlemen at the front desk. He told me we were both on the second floor and would be about three doors from each other. When we arrived our parents were on the second floor and we were on the fifth floor. No notes about my request and they were not able to accommodate us, but moved our room to the third floor to be closer to the second. For future reference, don't bother making room requests because they don't accommodate even if you call. Also there was a video playing in your room showing how they are handling Covid by wiping down high traffic areas and disinfecting frequently during the day. I never saw a cleaning person in the lobby, hallways, etc. Very...
