CYPRESS HAIR SALON — Local services in Cypress

I decided to go to this salon based on a few reviews that said It was affordable. I don't get elaborate or time consuming haircuts so I thought I'd give this salon a try. Erin was very nice. The salon is clean. The whole appointment took about 1 hour 15 min. The haircut itself including styling only took about 50 min. There was nothing wrong with the haircut. It was nice but nothing special. When I was done and she told me what I owed, I was a little stunned. $85 is not affordable. Not worth that amount or the 30 min. drive. I'll take responsibility for not asking in advance because if I had I would have just continued going to my usual salon in Brea, which is way more high end looking too by the way. I usually get charged $75 for the same services I received here. I always tip $20 so I end up paying about the same amount I paid Erin. I'll be honest, I was so stunned I didn't tip. I was in the area and needed a haircut, and saw that Cypress Hair Salon was nearby. I decided to give it a try since they accept walk-ins and I am happy that I did!

Erin is so nice and friendly. I like that she told me everything she was going to do with my hair right before she did it. She also listened to what I wanted, and checked up that I was good with the amount she was cutting off. I just wanted to get rid of dead ends and split hairs, keep my light layers, and add some face-framing. I am so happy with how my hair turned out!

Prices are reasonable and it is easy to park in the plaza.

Wow! It's a little hidden but happen to come by this hair salon at random and I'm not disappointed. I'm the type of person who gets overwhelmed when going to a salon. I felt welcomed and relaxed, did not feel rushed and i got treated with courtesy. Would definitely recommend this salon. Tina did an amazing job on my hair.
