Read moreCashiers at check out stations are very friendly, always willing to help their customers. Anyhow, there are 2 issues need to be improved: The food course needs to improve their service. My kids love Costco pizza because it is less salty and less greasy so I often order pizza here. I was always told by Food Course employees, "It takes about 20 - 30 minutes" but I had to wait at least 1 hour to 1.5 hours just for one pizza, ALL THE TIMES. One time it took me 2 hours. As a consequence, I had to report this problem to the store manager at that time. However, waiting time at the food course is not change at all = one order for one or two pizzas takes 1 hour. This is a very bad customer service!!! The managerial team needs to seriously look into this issue. Whether the root of the problem is related to poor customer service or short of labor force. Last week, I had to go to Costco on Garden Grove Blvd to order 30 (thirty) pizzas. I was told 20 minutes. Amazingly, it took 20 minutes for this large order. Five Star for Costco on Garden Grove Blvd * (a) Waiting at gas station and (b) the filled amount of gas. (a) Waiting time: I do not need to address here because too many other customers already mentioned and requested for an improvement (b) If anyone pay attention like what I have been doing, Costco gas price/a gallon is much lower in comparison with other outside stations. However, with a same amount of money, Costco gas pumps less amount of gasoline = less miles to operate. For example, I paid $60.00 of gas at Costco and was able to drive 240 miles only. At a different times (same day), I paid $60.00 at Chevron or Mobile or Shell and was able to drive 319 miles - 325 miles (same car model - I have 4 cars in my household). If I calculate the differences of the extra operated miles and the differences of $/gallon between Costco gas price and others', Costco gas price is unable to compete with outsiders. I urge the Costco Gas Station manager to take an action for this problem. To my opinion, this is not an honest game to Costco loyal...
I am writing this review to relay a recent experience I had at the Cypress location concerning two half-eternity bands I purchased while they were on sale. About a year and a half post-purchase, I observed that one of the rings had a missing stone. As a concerned customer, I promptly visited Cypress Costco to seek assistance for the repair.
On my initial visit, I was instructed by a customer service representative to bring the original ring box and certificate for them to facilitate the repair. I complied and returned the following day, only to encounter an intimidating and unpleasant exchange with a manager named Miguel.
Despite my attempts to explain the situation, Miguel dismissed my concerns, asserting that Costco doesn't offer such repairs. He suggested that I might have "misused" the ring, leading to the loss of the stone. Despite my assertion that the stone likely fell out due to flawed workmanship, he remained unyielding, loudly arguing that I was asking for a replacement, not a repair. His demeanor was both intimidating and embarrassing, and his approach seemed unreasonable to me.
I subsequently reached out to your online customer service for clarification. Contrary to Miguel's statements, the representative confirmed that Costco does indeed facilitate such repairs. They suggested I get in touch with the general manager at the Cypress location for the matter to be addressed, which led me to make a third trip to the warehouse to drop off the ring for repair.
I'm writing this review to draw attention to this incident because Miguel's behavior was not only misleading but also could potentially dissuade other customers, particularly those who might be less proficient in English or who might find such confrontations overwhelming, from seeking their rightful services.
I trust that this review will be helpful in ensuring that all Costco employees provide accurate and respectful service. I hope Cypress warehouse will address this matter appropriately and ensure such an incident...
Read moreThis Costco at Cypress is one of the bigger stores. There are more selections than other stores. It has my favorite bacon which is not stocked at my local store. Since it is in Orange County, the tax is 7.75 % vs 9.5 % in Los Angeles County. The gas station is arranged better than most other Costco with new faster pumps. It is worth the extra few miles for me to drive there.
Update 4/8/2021 You do not need to have your Costco card with you when you shop at Costco. I have the Costco app installed on my phone. There is a Membership Card function accessible via the app. Launch the Costco app, access this Membership Card and you could show this instead of the Plastic Member Card/Costco Visa Card to get in. This beats getting the card in and out of the wallet to show the Membership checker at the door. Today, I need to do a quick run at Costco and decided to place the Costco Visa Card in my jacket to speed up the check-out process (I like to use the self-checkout). When I arrived at Costco, it was getting warm. So, I took off the jacket and threw it at the back seat. Got into Costco flashing my phone and went shopping. Close to finish up shopping, I realized that I did not have my Costco Visa Card. So, I left my shopping cart with my friend and dashed out to my car to fetch my Card. After getting back into Costco, I started to wonder if I could use that Costco App at check-out also. Since I have my Costco Visa Card on Google Pay, I should able to check out with it. So, instead of the Plastic Card, I launched the Costco App on my phone and got to the Membership Card page. There is a QR code and the scanner at the check-out recognized it without any delay. I then used the Google Pay function, touched the card reader. Again, the card reader read my Google Pay without any issue. All the time, my Plastic Card was in my pocket. I could have saved myself the walk back to my card to get my card. Maybe this is not new to someone but this is new to me. I thought...
