DO NOT GO HERE, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DECEIVED!!! This is a difficult review to write because I hate giving places bad reviews even if they deserve it. Please be warned, make sure you ask specifically what they are charging you for because they misrepresent and deceptively charge you things you donāt need, hoping you donāt notice or unwilling to take the trouble to dispute later. Either go to the Apple store (for iPhone) or just order on-line through your carrier unless you want to pay for unnecessary things you donāt need or want. They will charge you for one of their āGo Advantage Programā without telling you or charge you $20 to set up your phone. The iPhone 7+ was also $10 more than what they were selling for at Apple?? Bottom line, I was lied to. Since I had a bad experience with a Verizon store near my home, I was willing to travel further to this GoWireless store in Cypress since it looked like the reviews were pretty good. My first visit was pleasant. They seemed friendly and attentive and in my case I just wanted to upgrade my phone to an iphone 7 plus. Art G/sales rep & manager went over the cost of the phone, upgrade, etc. Since it was on back order, they told me theyāll contact me when the phone comes in. Thatās when the problems began! First the store never contacted me to let me know that my phone came in earlier than projected. I only knew because Verizon sent me a Fed-ex tracking email that phone was delivered. When I came in to pick up my phone is when all deception began. First I was told that due to an Apple promotion, I would receive a complimentary glass protector. I was surprised at this and questioned this, but again AG assured me that it was something new that Apple was doing with its iPhone 7s. So he puts the glass protector on and sets up the phone and rings me up for the tax of the phone, which came out to a little more than I thought it should be. As I was ready to leave, I had to ask for a copy of the sales receipt. When I got home and had the chance to look at the receipt more carefully, I notice a $79.99 charge for a Go Advantage Program. When I called the store and asked about this, I was told that this was a mandatory charge to participate in the Verizon Edge program. Well I find out directly from Verizon that this is NOT a mandatory Verizon program and just a Go Wireless program. So I called the store wanting a refund. The salesperson who answered said that since Art left he would call him to see if he can get a refund code. He relayed that Art asked me to come in tomorrow since he will be in. I came in the next day and then Art tells me that he would need the district managerās approval for a refund (which they say they never/rarely give) but heās off for the next two days!? And ask me to come back a 3rd time?!! I wanted a refund for a program I didnāt ask for, wasnāt told about and didnāt need. They kept trying to sell the benefits of the programā¦(glass screen protector, accessory discountsā¦etc) I already have a screen protector that I ordered and have discount through my work. Bottom line, I thought I had finally found an authorized Verizon dealer that I could recommend to all my friends, but only if I donāt want them to be my friends anymore. So...

I have dealt with so many Verizon employees in my 15+ years of being a loyal Verizon customer but the lack of knowledge and effort from this specific male employee literally left me speechless. Dealing with technology can be a burden in itself but this particular male employee had absolutely no problem making sure we felt like exactly that to him. My partner has been dealing with fraudulent devices, numbers, and accounts added to his familyās plan for going on two years now, so Iām sure you could imagine how belittling itās been when we are shooed away and assured not to worry, that nothing is wrong. However, we finally had a breakthrough at this location and were able to confirm that the phone number suspended on his account was not only deleted entirely but also replaced with a device that pinged over in Japan ⦠yet as all of this is occurring and we pull out our phones to get this on video for proof of our side, he pushes his tablet facedown on the table and says āJust call the *611 phone number from here because honestly I just donāt feel like doing this for the last 30 minutes of my shift. They should be able to help..is that all please?ā ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ I mean i donā;t even know how to explain the room at that moment but i can assure you that we have never been so let down, shocked, and enraged all at once in a setting as public as this Verizon. And for him to see the distress that this situation has caused us and not even have the human decency just to pretend to care if nothing else really truly shocked us beyond belief. I pray he was only having a bad day today and will sincerely take into consideration the negative impact his blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and basic human emotion has had on Verizonās standards, reputation and company...
