I came here on 2/11 because my usual nail spot was busy. I was greeted nicely and was immediately sat. I requested for a gel mani and pedi. They had limited nail colors. I was okay up until I noticed tools were just laying out in their little cart. I’m sure they were clean but from the impression of just having your tools out in the open is a no go for me and should have just walked out at that point. I now have a pain anytime I walk/put pressure to my big toe. I was having a hard time walking to start my car at home, all the way driving to get to my desk work desk on Monday. Still have pain. Another issue I need to point out is when I was getting my leg scrubbed. No one needs to know my business but I have psoriasis and have a patch on my leg that is taking longer to heal. Getting it wet and lightly going over it isn’t the issue. The issue is having someone scrub the hell out of it to cause pain. Almost felt this person trying to scrub the psoriasis off of me. I told them to please stop and no need to go any further. They proceeded to make comments if it was a burn and I bluntly said no to end the conversation. I will give it to them that the mani person did come and fix gel that was all bumpy. At this point I just didn’t want to stay any longer because of how hard the person who scrubbed my psoriasis left me in pain. I already have the gel peeling off and do not even want to make a trip there to get my right hand fixed. I’m sure they are good people but need to be considerable that they are working with real people. Please consider the amount of pressure you do to your clients when scrubbing and removing cuticles. If it hurts me, 100%...
Read moreThe pedicure was actually great. Great massage and the polish application was top notch. The HUGE problem was with the cleanliness and sanitary practices at the salon. The pedicure chairs were filthy. The tray tables were full of crumbs, drink circles, and sticky debris in the cup holders from not being wiped down for quite some time. The chairs the nail techs sit in were very worn and the PVC leather was ripped in multiple places. The ceilings, walls, and light fixtures were dirty with wall scraps, dust, and misapplied paint. During the pedicure, I noticed the files and buffing square were obviously used and just thrown back into their wheeled cart during the pedicure for the next person. The pedicure tools were also not kept separate after use. Again they were just constantly thrown back into their wheeled cart of supplies. Once I saw the metal foot file literally covered in skin from recently removed callus just rinsed off and thrown into the cart WITH OTHER SUPPLIES (files, cuticle pushers, rubber gloves, bottles of lotion/cuticle oil/callus remover etc.) I literally lost it inside. I was so disgusted. Those wheeled carts need to have everything removed. Wipe down all the bottles, boxes, and nail polish with an antiseptic solution. Then develop a tray system where dirty supplies NEVER EVER touch new supplies. We paid $100+ tip for 2 pedicures. Will obviously not return to this salon and I would NOT recommend going here. I am just praying I don't get any type of skin or nail fungus/virus with their deliberate disregard for...
Read moreI have never been to a nail salon where the employees were so rude and condescending. I was 3 THREE! Minutes late not 5 like they claim! and they said they will see if Thomas could still see me. After time and time again I'm usually there waiting for my appointment. My time is just as valuable as his. The whole time doing my nails he kept reminding me about me being late. After all of that I was going to give them another chance and after speaking to a group of friends they convinced me to not go back And allow that treatment for service I pay for. Thankfully after letting people know on my Facebook community page what happened I received great recommendations to professional nail salons in our area and also some agreement on their experience at nail zone and spa too. This is my experiences here at this nail shop that I feel others should really know from an actual...
