I called Sleep Number and ordered two new remote controls for my split king adjustable bed. The rep asked if my remotes were triangle shape and I said yes. Once I connected the new remotes both the head and foot of each bed worked however once I tried to change the sleep number, the remotes registered at zero and the beds completely deflated. I connected with Sleep Number once again and went through all the prompts I was given to try and fix the problem, however it did not work so I call once again to Sleep Number and requested a service person to come and figure out what the problem was. Two service men arrive and told me I needed a new pump. I ordered one that day. When it arrived I connected the pump and again the head and foot of each bed worked and this time the bed inflated but the bed did not hold the air and both sides completed deflated again. I connected with Sleep Number once again but this time by internet chat. I was given prompts to check once again but still had the same results - the bed would not old the air. Eventually the rep identified that I had incorrect remotes; I was sold a 12-button remote when I needed a 9-button remote. At this point I was told by the rep that Sleep Number could not exchange the remotes and I was given another number to call, which I did only to be told they could not help me since I did not purchase the remotes from them. SOOOOOO I call Sleep Number AGAIN. The rep insisted on going through all the prompts again, which honestly I found infuriating. Why was I made to go through all these prompts when the service men did none of them. So I insisted on speaking with a Supervisor who magically was able to order the correct remotes and send them to me. Which I am currently waiting on. It had been over a week since I have been unable to sleep in my bed. I spent $100 on remotes, $190 on a service call and $400 on a new pump but still cannot sleep in my bed. I requested a refund on the $190 service call as I felt I did more than either one of them did and now I question did I really need a new $400 pump or was it the wrong remotes all along. The supervisor was able to waive ONLY $9 which he said was something about a return shipping label cost but could do nothing about the ineffective $190 service call. Had I not invested so much time, energy and money into a simple thing like ordering new remotes, I would have trashed the Sleep Number Bed and bought a new bed elsewhere. As a loyal customer since 2005, I found your service to be inadequate and frustrating!!! After this experience, I will never recommend Sleep Number to anyone. Yes, the bed is great but the service...
Read moreProduct is good, sales experience was good, fulfilling the order was not a good experience at all. Make sure you completely understand what you are getting as a whole package. Over and over stated I needed the frame I can attach a headboard to. They gave me just a box spring and then wanted to charge me another $200 to change it out and basically said my husband and I were wrong in what we ordered. Gave up trying to talk to a manager. Mattress pad got shipped to the store instead of my home. It was just one inconvenience after another fulfilling the order. Hoping your experience isn’t the same and mine was...
Read moreMy salesperson, Wea, was excellent! First time I went to try out the different mattresses and get more info on the entire product. My visit was on a week day when the store wasn’t busy. Wea fully explained the system, helped me arrive at my sleep number, had me try the different mattresses and discussed cost and financing. She did this all with a true caring and personable manner. By the end of the visit I felt like I had made a friend. On my second visit I purchased an iLE with a Flexfit 2 base and am anxiously waiting for my delivery. Thank you Wea! You...
