Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas NW Hwy - Love Field by IHG — Hotel in Dallas

Do not ever check in here. I sent my kids up to the room to put up their bags and they came back to the car stating they were harassed by the front desk receptionist. I then received a phone call from the Front Desk Receptionist Royce, stating that my kids were running up and down the hallway and creating a disturbance. I expressed my children and I had already left to get something to eat and that they were not being a disruption, she didn’t receive any complaints, and she’s harassing us. I also told her that I want to ensure we have a great stay. I asked will she continue to harass us the whole time we are there. She stated come get your things and get out, I’m canceling your reservation, and she hungup in my face. I then returned to the hotel and she was leaving out the room, getting on the elevator, stating she locked us out. I informed her that she will allow us to get our things and she unlocked the door then stated don’t let the door close because you will be locked out and I’m not opening it again. It was 2 of us and we had more than 6 bags. This lady (front desk receptionist) attitude was horrible, nasty, and disgusting. She’s pure trash and I can’t believe they are allowing her to serve this hotel. Mind you she was also harassing another lady whom ended her reservation early. This all happened in a matter of 30 minutes from the time we checked in. If you have kids, this is not the place for you. Front desk receptionist name was Royce.

Also, while in the room, I called the front desk and spoke with Royce to let her know that we will be out and leaving the property. I’m just waiting on the police so I can I file a report for harassment and ensure I receive my money or something showing that she canceled my reservation. I had the absolute worst experience! I never had this issue before until I met the front desk lady ( possibly supervisor, Nadya I believe her name was) She was completely hysterical and lacked professionalism. She terrified my 6 year old child!! I specifically asked not to talk to my daughter, many, MANY times, and she completely ignored my requests! My daughter was absolutely terrified of her, so she went to hide. She was crying and left traumatized from this horrifying experience!!!! I was attempting to ignore this lady, and she kept on talking to me over and over again. She was argumentative and hostile! I am disappointed that Holiday Inn has this employee who clearly doesn't represent the values that the company strives for! Rather than politely inform guests, she attacks them! Escalates things and lacks self-control! Holiday Inn, do better. Sadly, I will not be coming back, and I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone unless they change and train their staff accordingly. EDIT: It has come to my attention that Nadya is still employed by Holiday Inn and is still misbehaving in an eradic manner. This location lacks professionalism, and they do not care about their guest at all! I was NEVER contacted regarding my experience, and neither did they attempt to refund me even though I didn't even stay due to Nadya's insults and abusive remarks!!Which goes to show you their lack of courtesy! Talk about a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this Hotel after staying at a few other Love Field Hotels that were less than stellar. This particular Holiday Inn Express & Suites off Connector Drive is the cleanest, most well

maintained I’ve ever stayed at. It is evident that the General Manager and his team take great care and pride in the Hotel. Their Ana either including the gym, laundry room and pool are kept in like new condition!

I used to work in the Hotel industry and the attention to detail that Housekeeping has is impeccable. I’ve been staying here almost every week and when I check into the room, even the PHONE cord is wrapped properly around the phone, right down to the highest brand standard. The cleanliness is well above most 4-5 star Hotels I’ve stayed at. The first time I stayed at this Hotel, the GM apologized because they steam cleaned the carpets earlier and the floor may still be “a little bit damp.” I’ll take that all day long, the carpet is so clean! The second time I checked in, everyone remembered my name. Great customer service!

The breakfast buffet is extremely well kept and organized with a wide variety of choices. The breakfast hostess, Gabby actively monitors the breakfast area and if there is so much as a crumb, Gabby is on it.

Overall, I can’t speak highly enough about this Hotel. Week after week, the experience is consistent with extremely clean, quiet rooms, friendly faces and is close proximity to Love Field.
