I bought a $139 check-in suitcase from Ross dress for less San Francisco store one week ago. After measured it at home, I realized it was 2" larger than the airline required. I tried to return this brand new one to this store since it is closer, with receipt , name tag as well as all the accessories. Since I haven't used it, everything was at its original package and condition. I also wanted to bought a slightly smaller one as well as a carry on one. The overall $ amount was more than the return $. However, the cashier refused to return it and asked me to return it to the San Francisco store. I requested to speak with her manager. The she called and only told the manager its price and I bought it from SF store. The manager refused to return it as well. Then she found an excuse and said that it had been used! I had to bring it the SF store. The cashier there checked it and returned it without any doubt.

Read moreI had an uncomfortable experience at this store when a security officer approached me aggressively as I was leaving, asking if I had bought something. His approach felt threatening and made me feel unsafe. I was upset and expressed my frustration, but if he had continued to escalate things, I would have felt forced to protect myself.

Security has a responsibility to ensure the safety of all customers, but it’s important to be aware of how their actions can affect people. I won’t be returning to this store, as I don’t feel it’s a safe place to shop. Know your rights don’t consent to...
Read moreThis rating is for some of the staff at this location. In particular, one of the women behind the counter named Karen, was being unhelpful and condescending to another cashier infront of customers. She also seemed generally miserable and disinterested, throwing products around without care and using an aggressive tone of voice with other customers, including myself. Additionally, I watched one of the loss prevention guys hiding behind racks spying on people shopping, and it was also weird and uncomfortable to be stopped to show my receipt of everything I just purchased when I had just gone through the line/cashier and was within their sight the whole time. It's too bad - the selection at this location is pretty decent but the vibes have gone way off. Please hire less miserable people.
On the plus side, the Trader Joes next door has way...
