After reading all the reviews, I was a bit sketchy about going to spiral but was pleasantly surprised. Service:9.5 The service was overall pretty good, we took a long time to decide on food and the waitress didn't seem mad or stressed or anything like that. The reason its not a 10 is because they didn't stop by even once to refill our water. Food: 9 The food was very good but needed improvement. The dragon roll tasted great. The chicken teriyaki bowl had great rice and sauce but the chicken was slightly undercooked. They also could've put more sauce on it. The bento I ordered was pretty great overall. More rice would've been nice but the portion given is okay. The teriyaki steak sauce was phenomenal but the steak itself was unevenly cooked, although it looked well cooked, there were a few small spots that were red(this means these parts werent well enough) The soba (I believe this was the name) was amazing. The skin was a very very good addition to the soba. It was soaked with a special sauce that made it taste absolutely amazing. Mochi Ice cream strawberry flavor The taste was delicious but was way overpriced. They give you 2 pieces of mochi with whipped cream and chocolate sauce for $6.45 In my opinion it was good but overpriced.

FOOD: The food was excellent. Everything was amazing, awesome portions for the rolls, the fish was great, and a huge generous heap of clams in the miso soup. It totally made a $10 miso soup worth it. It's a must try! This place would be awesome for takeout.
VIBE: The service was extremely hot and cold. Mostly cold. To note: She was at the end of her shift though. So maybe she was just exhausted and over it. And the server who took over was very friendly and attentive. So I just thought it was a weird encounter with the last person and forgot about it.
But then on my way out--and I was feeling great about the food, the bill, the second waiter-- I said thank you and goodbye to the other 3 employees by the sushi counter, as you do when you leave stores. I made eye contact with all three when I thanked them, and all 3 just stopped their smiling/conversation and looked away without even a nod, waiting for me to pass by and exit.
lt was kind of wild how unwanted I felt there.
But shout out to the server wearing a black mask who helped ring me up and brought a box for my leftovers. She was sweet. I wish they had name tags so I could acknowledge her properly, but I was too embarrassed to ask for anything while sitting there.

Despite the restaurant having only four tables occupied (not busy), it was incredibly difficult to get the attention and service of the staff. One server in particular, an Asian woman with half-tied hair, stood out for her consistently impatient attitude. She never approached our table proactively to check if we needed anything, which made the service truly subpar.
Her tone, facial expressions, and demeanor conveyed a sense of irritation, almost as if I owed her a fortune. When we tried to signal for a tea cup, she seemed to deliberately ignore us and walked further away.
Considering the prices of the food here, I expected a STANDARD level of customer service. However, our table piled up with six empty plates without anyone bothering to clear them. The staff members stood by the front desk or kitchen entrance, maintaining their distance from customers and neglecting to refill ginger, water or tea.
I recommend that the management either improve staff training to enhance service quality or hire more professional servers. Thanks to this employee's "EXCELLENT" service, I won't be returning to this...
