Snow Goose Inn — Hotel in Dover

If I could give the Snow Goose Inn a 10 Star review I would. Here’s why. My husband and I stayed at the Snow Goose Inn for an Anniversary / Birthday weekend. We were immediately greeted by Cheryl and Jon upon arrival. Cheryl showed us around the Inn. This was special the moment we walked through the doors. Cheryl and Jon have created a beautiful experience that nothing short of magical. The soft music constantly playing in the background, the beautiful common areas that are so peaceful, the complimentary drinks and coffee .… and a charcuterie board. Now, this isn’t a hunk of cheese, a few crackers, and a slab of salami. This is a charcuterie board that you will need to book your reservation to find out. Come back and thank me later. Lemon Water!! The baked goods out on the table for whenever you feel like you need a little something sweet. You can’t get this anywhere else.

We stayed in Room Fourteen where we were greeted with the most beautiful room with a fireplace (functioning fireplace), the views of the back area just as the leaves were changing colors for the fall. This was a spa feel in an Inn atmosphere. Oh yeah, breakfast is included. Not toast, some bagels, a muffin, and oatmeal. You order from a menu. Jon picks up the breakfast order daily and sets up your breakfast on a beautiful tray with fresh flowers. There is coffee, juice (all types), and so much more. Again, no other hotel or inn even comes close. Jon and Cheryl have ruined all other experiences that I will have going forward because I don’t believe any other hotel or inn can stand up to this experience. Jon and Cheryl have set the standard. Our stay at the Snow Goose Inn was extraordinary, thanks to Jon, who truly goes above and beyond for his guests. From the moment we arrived, Jon greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, gave us a tour of the inn, and showcased all the fantastic amenities available.||The common areas are stocked with an impressive selection of snacks, including Ben & Jerry's in the fridge, cookies, fruit, and various other treats. These thoughtful touches really make you feel at home.||Our room was exceptional and exceeded all expectations. We found a delightful basket of snacks waiting for us, and each nightstand featured thoughtful items like Snow Goose Inn Chapstick, a small bottle of Vermont syrup, cozy house robes, and slippers. The newly updated bathroom was a highlight, complete with everything you might need, and the shower had excellent water pressure—such a refreshing way to start the day!||You can't help but fall in love with Jon’s friendly dog, Zeus (6yr), and his adorable puppy, Coco (6 months). They add a unique charm to the inn, making the experience even more enjoyable.||Breakfast is included and is another highlight; Jon takes your order from a menu and picks it up from a local restaurant, ensuring you have a delicious meal to start your day.||The property itself is beautiful and the perfect place to relax.
