5 Stars – Exceptional Service and Hospitality
We’ve held our annual Warden’s meeting at this hotel for two consecutive years, and the experience has been nothing short of outstanding. In addition to hosting our event, they also blocked rooms for our staff, making the entire process seamless from start to finish. The accommodations are consistently excellent, and not once have I heard a single complaint from any of our wardens or correctional staff—only praise.
The team is incredibly flexible, which is invaluable in the corrections industry where plans can change at a moment’s notice. They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure our needs are met, from room blocks and modified reservations to credit card authorizations, event setup with equipment rentals, and beverage service. We’ve also benefited from a year-round negotiated contract rate, which has been a great value.
A special shoutout to Randi Shaw, Director of Sales—she is phenomenal. Her attention to detail, solution-oriented mindset, and professionalism made coordinating everything seamless. The General Manager and Front Desk Manager (though their names escape me) were also highly professional and accommodating. Raquel gives exceptional customer service. I have just forgotten her title.
Having worked in the hospitality industry myself, I know how challenging it can be to balance policy with flexibility. This team does it with poise, grace, and a genuine desire to make every event as stress-free as possible. Any issues that arose were handled swiftly and with care.
I highly recommend this hotel for any professional event or stay. You will not be...
Read moreMy husband, newborn and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while in town for a wedding. 48 hours after checking out, a front desk worker calls and accuses us of breaking a wall lamp. I assured her it was in working order when I checked out. She said they “did an investigation with housekeeping and engineering” and somehow reached the conclusion that it was definitely us. We were barely in the room the entire weekend. We used the lamp’s on/off switch, nothing more. They are standing by these baseless claims and are attempting to charge us $120. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member, even received a welcome bag upon checking in. Yet here I am being accused of damaging hotel property with no evidence. The photo of the lamp they sent upon my request is not how it looked when I checked out. It is more than likely the result of a worker accidentally breaking it, or poor instillation. I even told the worker it could’ve just broken on its own from use over time. The said “no, the hotel has only been running for 9 months and our lamps usually last longer than that.” “Usually?” Ok. Doesn’t seem like solid evidence that I am responsible for anything. Unbelievable. I would urge anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. I will not return to any location of courtyard Marriott in the future considering this is how they treat...
Read moreSeveral things wrong: The TV had sound but no picture. I called the front desk to ask maintenance to come fix it I was told possible tomorrow (the TV was not fixed in the 2 days we were there.) We stayed 2 nights and the 1st morning housekeeping never came. I called the desk and I was told "housekeeping only cleans up every other day." I asked if I could please have towels and the desk clerk was very reluctant about giving us more towels. At that point I was told that housekeeping would come and do a "refresh" of the room which meant they would throw out the trash and do a wipe down of the toilet and shower. Nothing was done just the towels were brought to us. We also went down for coffee and there was NO free coffee it was $6.00. On the website it read that checkout time was 12:00 noon but the clerk told us checkout time was 11am. The AC was also not cooling. Our experience at this brand new hotel was not a pleasant one. For the price we paid for 2 nights I will not stay there again. -Zelda...
